Duncan Oldham took £5 pre-order “deposits” for his non-existent Anfield Exposed book from 2003 until the start of this year. We doubt very much that he has ever read a book, let alone written one.
But he never had any intention of writing a word of it – he just wanted another means of scamming yet more money out of Liverpool fans.
He brazenly advertised the book on his front page and these plugs for Anfield Exposed included one of his most repulsive lies to date – an empty promise that he would make a donation to the HJC out of the profits the book made him. It was proof that Oldham will lie about anything to line his own pockets.
Last year, he made another infamous empty promise about Anfield Exposed. Nobody was surpirsed when he failed to honour either his pledge to publish the book or grant free memberships if it hadn’t appeared.

I guarantee that it will be out 2006 or FREE Gold Club memberships for everyone for life
He often claimed that the book was almost finished. But he ignored all requests to see a sample chapter – or even a few paragraphs. Whenever one of the many members who had paid him the £5 demanded to know when the book would be published, he banned them.
It was only after this blog made repeated complaints about the scam to Trading Standards that Oldham was forced to finally begin giving people the refunds they were owed.
He now claims that the book will come out when KopTalk closes, which shouldn’t be too long.

VIP readers of KopTalk include the likes of Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Kenny Dalglish, Ronnie Moran, Roy Evans and Gerard Houllier plus loads more! Everyone of them will of course be reading Anfield Exposed, will you?
Despite sitting within the company of Ricky Parry and Co. at various games and despite having tea and biscuits with former boss Gerard Houllier, he insists he couldn’t become a suit and prefers to be just an ordinary fan.
