Will Duncan Oldham be at Anfield, Sept 22nd?

He’s telling everyone on his blog (www.duncanoldham.com) that he’ll be in the UK this weekend (20th/21st ish of Sept). Will be be keeping his earlier promise to go to every LFC home game this season?

Here was Duncan Oldham (of Koptalk’s) promise, posted on Koptalk on the 21st of July 2007 (as detailed by the blog here);

I’ve set myself a target of attending every home game next season and have accomodation booked up for the first half of the season … I’ll be back in the UK from around September 1st once the transfer window has closed.

So that was what he said towards the end of July. Here is what he said today (18th Sept 2007).

Just a quick note to let you know that we’ll be back in the UK from Friday. We’ll be in Liverpool for the weekend and then we’ll be staying at my place (Wetherby) for around a week or so.

And for those who didn’t know Liverpool have a game on Monday 22nd of Sept 2007 vs Birmingham City at Anfield.

Will Duncan Oldham keep his promise? Will he watch the game from Spain? Will he watch the game hidden away somewhere in the UK? Will he even watch the game? Does he even care? Will he dare to show his face at Anfield? Will he take pictures of himself inside Anfield? Only one things is certain, that is if he is spotted anywhere near Anfield on Monday there will be a large number of people wishing to “speak” to Dunk Oldham of Koptalk.com.

    I would be very surprised if he showed up at Anfield after all these years. Can anyone remember the last time he was there? Must have been his wedding or something like that.

  7. Concorde Says:

    I’ll be there on Saturday looking out for him “in the main stand near the dugouts” where he said his new seats are. Of course I’m sure he won’t be there just like he hasn’t been there any game yet this season.

    Seat details

    Lower Centenary KM/6/200 and 201

    We all know there is as much chance of him being at Anfield this week as there is for Stephen Hawking to make his England Rugby Union debut on Saturday against Samoa.

    I would even go as far as saying that clearly has not got the guts to step inside Anfield EVER again. Why would he?

    No guts, just one huge distended one.
