In his latest blog entry, Insider Insider is covering Dunk’s latest claims to go to a Liverpool match, and also his planned escape route. Because Duncan Oldham won’t be at Camp Nou when the Champions League match between Barcelona and Liverpool kicks off. He won’t even be in Barcelona, nor will he be in Spain. He will be sat on his big arse in a shed in Wallsend, monitoring every single post on his website, in case someone should mention this blog or any other Liverpool fan sites name in a post. It’s an easy job these days, as new posts are far between. An average of about 2,5 minutes between posts is the current rate at KopTalk. No wonder anything negative about KT is deleted within seconds.
But let’s get back to the point. Dunk is not going to matches anymore, and hasn’t been for years. That’s of course with an exception for when Liverpool are playing at St. James’ Park, because then he can use his season ticket and keep on safe distance from the Liverpool supporters that would have ripped him apart if they met him. From time to time he claims to go to matches, but he never shows any proof that he’s been there. Let’s look at what happened last time he claimed to go to a Liverpool match at Anfield.
On January 5th this could be seen on the KopTalk Shout box:
[Greebo] So are you going on Tuesday Dunk?

[GasAxe] recorded said it will deffo be with u tomorow
[GasAxe] lower centenary, got a feeling they where row 7

[Greebo] I’ve got tickets for right at the back of the Kop.
[Dunk] hi morgan. you’ll get tickets but they’ll be pricey mate. i wouldnt know how much a tout would charge. i would suggest posting for help in the ticket forum mate
[Dunk] i dont drink at the games these days as i take the car and usually the wife or kids
[Greebo] shame – I’d have bought you a pint on general principles – we usually go to the pub on thecorner of Utting Ave and Cheery Lane – think its called the Cherry tree
[Dunk] i park up in a garage at an old dears house, i then belt it to the car at full time to avoid the traffic, its the only time i exercise lol
[Greebo] Have to go and get showered & changed for my one allowed night out with the neighbour now! Hope to catch up with you later. Once again, thanks for the site.
[Dunk] lol, well enjoy it mate, take care
[morganlfc] thanks dunk
4 days before the match he was claiming that he would be there.
Then on the afternoon before the match he posted this:
#69623 – Today at 05:56 PM Juventus to bid for Sissoko
Posts: 14477 Latest rumour in the city… not sure if already discussed, apologies if it has.
No way would Rafa part with Momo IMHO.
Speak after the match
So he’s still going to the match then, and it’s less than 2 hours left. Surely he can’t be in Wallsend then. He must be on his way, or already in Liverpool.
He stopped posting after this, and you would expect him not to post again before the match was over. But thick as he is he’d forgot all about it when the match was under way and Arsenal scored every time they crossed the halfway line. With Arsenal 5-1 up he was bored and decided to hit the keyboard again:

The match, at which Dunk is supposed to be in the stands, is nowhere near finished, but Dunk is blowing his cover again. You’d also expect him to tell about the match, and maybe post some pictures he’d taken from the stands. But there was nothin of that. Not a single post. Poor Greebo, who was offering him a pint before the match didn’t even get an answer to this question in the Shout box later that evening:
[Greebo] Hi Dunk. Did you go tonight?
So, once again, Dunk failed to show up for a match at Anfield where he claimed he would be. Apparently he will be there for the home match against Barca, but we are just waiting for his excuses. He will not be at Camp Nou, and he will not be at Anfield. The next Liverpool match he will attend will be at St. James’ Park, where he will be sat amongst his fellow Newcastle supporters.
