More on Dunk's match-going.

In his latest blog entry, Insider Insider is covering Dunk’s latest claims to go to a Liverpool match, and also his planned escape route. Because Duncan Oldham won’t be at Camp Nou when the Champions League match between Barcelona and Liverpool kicks off. He won’t even be in Barcelona, nor will he be in Spain. He will be sat on his big arse in a shed in Wallsend, monitoring every single post on his website, in case someone should mention this blog or any other Liverpool fan sites name in a post. It’s an easy job these days, as new posts are far between. An average of about 2,5 minutes between posts is the current rate at KopTalk. No wonder anything negative about KT is deleted within seconds.

But let’s get back to the point. Dunk is not going to matches anymore, and hasn’t been for years. That’s of course with an exception for when Liverpool are playing at St. James’ Park, because then he can use his season ticket and keep on safe distance from the Liverpool supporters that would have ripped him apart if they met him. From time to time he claims to go to matches, but he never shows any proof that he’s been there. Let’s look at what happened last time he claimed to go to a Liverpool match at Anfield.

On January 5th this could be seen on the KopTalk Shout box:

[Greebo] So are you going on Tuesday Dunk?
[Dunk] yeh i’ll be there mate

[GasAxe] recorded said it will deffo be with u tomorow
[GasAxe] lower centenary, got a feeling they where row 7
[Dunk] nice, cheers mate
[Dunk] glad to help and it gives someone a chance to get to anfield
[morganlfc] hey dunk what do you thik the chances of getting a ticket for the everton game gang of us coming over, how much do you think the touts will be selling them for
[Greebo] Fancy a pint before the match Dunk?
[Greebo] I’ve got tickets for right at the back of the Kop.
[Dunk] hi morgan. you’ll get tickets but they’ll be pricey mate. i wouldnt know how much a tout would charge. i would suggest posting for help in the ticket forum mate
[Dunk] i dont drink at the games these days as i take the car and usually the wife or kids
[Greebo] shame – I’d have bought you a pint on general principles – we usually go to the pub on thecorner of Utting Ave and Cheery Lane – think its called the Cherry tree
[Dunk] i park up in a garage at an old dears house, i then belt it to the car at full time to avoid the traffic, its the only time i exercise lol
[Greebo] Have to go and get showered & changed for my one allowed night out with the neighbour now! Hope to catch up with you later. Once again, thanks for the site.
[Dunk] lol, well enjoy it mate, take care
[morganlfc] thanks dunk

4 days before the match he was claiming that he would be there.

Then on the afternoon before the match he posted this:

#69623 – Today at 05:56 PM Juventus to bid for Sissoko
Dunk Dunk
KopTalk.com

Posts: 14477 Latest rumour in the city… not sure if already discussed, apologies if it has.

No way would Rafa part with Momo IMHO.

Speak after the match

So he’s still going to the match then, and it’s less than 2 hours left. Surely he can’t be in Wallsend then. He must be on his way, or already in Liverpool.

He stopped posting after this, and you would expect him not to post again before the match was over. But thick as he is he’d forgot all about it when the match was under way and Arsenal scored every time they crossed the halfway line. With Arsenal 5-1 up he was bored and decided to hit the keyboard again:

Re: Kelvin Mckenzie Executive Lounge Dunk Today at 09:10 PM
Re: Kelvin Mckenzie Executive Lounge Dunk Today at 09:06 PM

The match, at which Dunk is supposed to be in the stands, is nowhere near finished, but Dunk is blowing his cover again. You’d also expect him to tell about the match, and maybe post some pictures he’d taken from the stands. But there was nothin of that. Not a single post. Poor Greebo, who was offering him a pint before the match didn’t even get an answer to this question in the Shout box later that evening:

[Greebo] Hi Dunk. Did you go tonight?

So, once again, Dunk failed to show up for a match at Anfield where he claimed he would be. Apparently he will be there for the home match against Barca, but we are just waiting for his excuses. He will not be at Camp Nou, and he will not be at Anfield. The next Liverpool match he will attend will be at St. James’ Park, where he will be sat amongst his fellow Newcastle supporters.

Dunk spotted in KT van on way to Newc. Int’l Airport departing for Barca.

  2. Chunka Says:

you love that pic don’t you

  3. Koptalksucks.com Says:

He has already got his excuse ready. The illness of a family member.

  4. Tubby Says:

I think that pic captures the true essence of Koptalk, and it will be the new blog mascot.

  5. Tubby Says:

Dunk spotted heading back to KT HQ upon hearing of a relative being unwell:

Looks like Barca is a no-go for the obese one. We have reporters out spotting the KT van, so will keep you posted as it happens.

  6. tubby chaser Says:

    tubby

on your latest pic, why is the number plate reversed but not the koptalk logo?

  7. Koptalksucks.com Says:

I’m not expert of Photoshop but probably because the van and the numberplace were one image which was then reversed. Where as the flag and Koptalk logo were different images added ontop of this and were not rotated.

  8. tubby chaser Says:

    i was being sarcastic

  9. T Says:

Is it me or does it look like GasAxe is Dunk???

[Dunk] glad to help and it gives someone a chance to get to anfield

From the first 2 posts it looks like he’s sending the tickets to Dunk recorded delivery. Then the third post is Dunk thanking him but the fourth post sounds like it should be GasAxe replying to Dunks thanks!?!?

  10. Insider Insider Says:

It does look like it “T” – when was this?

  11. Koptalk Outsider Says:

That was from the coversation in the artivle above. I didn’t pay attention to that, but here’s what was said before:

[GasAxe] Katie will you let dunk know Ive sent them tickets recorded deliver this afternoon
    [Katie] ok thank you GasAxe
[Dunk] was it recorded or next day mate?

  12. T Says:

I picked that up from the article above

  13. Koptalk Outsider Says:

Though I think Dunk was just saying he’d use the tickets so someone could go to Anfield. Was this the match where careym was the “winner”?

  14. fat_boy_fat Says:

Looks like Dunk had got 2 unsed tickets from GasAxe and told him some bullshit that he will let someone on KT have them for face value.
In reality what fatty twatty means is, i’m selling these to some poor sod for 5x the face value, and then going to maccys to celebrate.

  15. Dunk_is-a-numb_fuck Says:

    dunk is a cunt

  16. Koptalk Outsider Says:

Looks like Dunk and Steve are in Barcelona now.

  17. Koptalksucks.com Says:

They took the EasyJet flight from Newcastle.

    EZY6401 Newcastle – Barcelona

  18. Trusty_Rusty Says:

Hey did Fatty make it to the game? Any updates?

I can’t wait to hear the filthy rats latest excuse for not going.

  19. latestinsider Says:

    NEWSFLASH!

Dunk arrested at the Nou Camp…after an altercation with the owner of a pie stall outside the stadium!

  20. Tubby Says:

Dunk at the Nou Camp! Riise scores with his right peg!

Amazingly, one of those claims is true.

  21. Red Lion Landlord Says:

So is there a youtube clip from inside the nou camp coming then?

  22. Tubby Says:

I doubt Dunk can use a digital camera with his fat fingers. Probably has to carry around a match to press the buttons.

Hang on, got some breaking news….

Our helicopter spotted Dunk making his way back to the KT Shed in a hurry, probably to relay to his millions of members about the Barca trip. We quickly got on to our photographers on the ground and they spotted him:

  23. Shaggy Shagger Says:

    LOL @ Tubby 🙂 hhaha

  24. spsdjone Says:

haha, funny how the fat boys video diary shows nothing of the stadium or the game. Anyone can get a cheap flight to barcelona so how does this prove he went to the game. even funnier is the home page on you tube. “the award winning site, koptalk”. What fucking awards has that won apart from being the only lfc site to rip its own fans off

  25. Toby Says:

Well I for one would have liked to see him struggling for breath at the top of the away end after climbing those steps!

  26. Barry Wom Says:

seriously, has dunk claimed he went? fucking gutted i didn’t see the fat blob.

  27. scousenproud Says:

He might of went to barca but shareholders have no need to buy tickets from touts. Also cant believe there was no interaction with fellow reds and it was almost as if he creeped around hiding his identity behind the camera(thank fuck it had a widescreen lens on it) Shouldent there be a funeral or something this week for a family member? The death never happened because that sad sack would milk that for all the sympathy he could muster.

  28. rupertinsider Says:

Insider Insider and Outside Insider’s articles can claim the credit. They made it virtually impossible for him not to go – or at least to make a good show of going. So his elaborate and cyncial excuse for not going – deaths and illnesses and poor suffering step brothers – just got ditched.

Suddenly it was more important to try to prove he was in Barcelona as though any of us really give a shit where the shuddering lump of blubber is.

He knows that his cult members are perfectly willing to forget the last big lie – if only he’ll tell them another.

As for the question about “award winning site” – I dealt with that at length in an earlier reply. Ill try to find it and edit this comment with the link.

I found it here it is:

Those quotes are from 1998-2002 period when Koptalk was the largest site – in fact there were only about 3 LFC sites then, in the early days of footie-sites on the net. It was large because its forums were free. They are no longer free.

Koptalk had been founded by Colin Seaman and afterwards, the present owner, Duncan Oldham, muscled his way into control of it. Seaman left when he saw that Oldham was more interested in money than football.

Virtually 95% of the original contributors who made the site’s reputation at the time of those citations left en masse in protest against Oldham’s influence on the site – they went to the other sites or started new sites.

There are now about 15 LFC sites. Koptalk is ranked in traffic terms no higher than 10th by the Alexa organisation – marginally higher only than the most recent start-ups or the small one-man sites.

Two of the sites he quotes in that list Total Football Magazine and Football 365 were themselves start-ups in that period struggling to establish themselves. One of the techniques they used was to run silly polls. Both of them ran a poll to establish which was the “best” football site. As was typical in those days of unsophisticated software, the polls allowed unlimited votes from the same person. Oldham used the forums in Koptalk to organise the hi-jacking of those polls. He and a group on the site voting repeatedly all day and night. His helpers treated it as a joke. But Oldham was deadly serious. He knew exactly how he would exploit the polls and kept urging on the voters that it was “very important” for the site that it topped the poll.

When the magazines announced the gerrymandered results, Oldham posted the result as banner headlines on Koptalk and included them in his Google tags – as though they were genuine polls.

Other mainstream media – unaware of this cheating and unware that he was lying when he claimed to have inside information from LFC and that players and ex-players were contributors – then made congratulatory remarks. Remember, even the mainstream newspapers did not have net sites in those days and the journalists who made the comments were not very sophisticated in their understanding of how the net worked. They simply believed the two fake polls and Oldham’s lies.

One of the tabloids he cites is the Daily Star. It did a S** type number at Hillsborough (but did have the sense to apologise quickly).

It’s noticeable that Oldham does not posts any citations since 2001. And he does not post any of the many criticial and condemnatory reviews of his site. Nor does he acknowledge the 2006 written statements by Ian Cotton, Head of Press at LFC, that Oldham has never had any contact with officials at LFC and he has no access to the club, or the letters containing the same sentiment sent to contributors of this blog in 2006 by Rick Parry, Executive Director of LFC.

  29. Red Lion Landlord Says:

I had to smile at him making efforts to show the front of the Mirror and the flight number.

Ive just watched the second video and Im still in the dark as to whether they were there. Three minutes worth of crowd shots throughout the match, they looked like they were taken on a phone. Steve pissed-up wanting to look for spares and an unfunny clown annoying people (not Dunk on this occasion). Worth the membership alone that.

I thought at least that the self-styled King of the Kop would be in the thick of it all with the Liverpool supporters thoughout the day. Strangely, there were only a couple of shots of lads and flags- always prefering to use the zoom on his camera. Wonder why?

  30. Koptalksucks.com Says:

    @Red Lion

“I thought at least that the self-styled King of the Kop would be in the thick of it all with the Liverpool supporters thoughout the day. Strangely, there were only a couple of shots of lads and flags- always prefering to use the zoom on his camera. Wonder why?”
Exactly what I thought when I watched the 2nd video.

“Ive just watched the second video and Im still in the dark as to whether they were there. Three minutes worth of crowd shots throughout the match, they looked like they were taken on a phone. Steve pissed-up wanting to look for spares and an unfunny clown annoying people (not Dunk on this occasion). Worth the membership alone that.”
They obviously went to Barca (not hard really, cheap flight and hotel). But I doubt he was inside the Nou Camp for the match. From the walking outside the stadium to all the rubbish clips from inside we don’t see or hear Dunk/Steve once. They went to Barca but not to the match.

  31. rupertinsider Says:

“From the walking outside the stadium to all the rubbish clips from inside we don’t see or hear Dunk/Steve once. They went to Barca but not to the match.”

I havent looked at it yet, but from your description it sounds like a replay of his Cardiff “outing”. For that there were lots of video of passing crowds in the street and some from inside a pub. But the person taking the video was alone and not recognized by any of the people being videoded and the camera seemed detached from it all. There were a a few shots high up in the stadium during the game, but none that included a shot of Oldham or Steve or anyone recognizably from his shed.

Most independent observers concluded he was not in Cardiff – he was not seen by anyone, could not give a convincing explanation of his hotel or whereabouts, persistently failed to respond to invitation to a meeting from one of his members.

  32. Koptalksucks.com Says:

“Most independent observers concluded he was not in Cardiff – he was not seen by anyone, could not give a convincing explanation of his hotel or whereabouts, persistently failed to respond to invitation to a meeting from one of his members.”

And would have got a beating had he gone too.

  33. latestinsider Says:

    Just to side-track for a moment…

Do we know when Dunk’s dad committed suicide? We know he was a policeman in the south yorkshire force….could it have been anything to do with Hillsborough?

Why i’m asking is what would be the fat one’s motive to rip off Liverpool fans, apart from greed?

Could it be some sort of psychotic revenge for what happened to his dad? The need to hold someone/anyone accountable for his suicide?

    Just a thought.

  34. rupertinsider Says:

The thought has already been explored by Honorary Insider in an earlier article on the blog about January 4-6.

Oldham claims his father was in the Yorkshire force. Assuming he lived in Scarborough it would be the North Yorks force – and the commission of inquiry found that those responsible for the Hillsborough disaster were in the South Yorks.

But it used to be a unified Yorks force in the past – probably was when his father was in it.

You have to be careful about what he claims about his father. He also claimed a TV soap opera cop was based on him.

Assuming his father was a cop, he would no doubt identify with the police at Hillsborough rather than the Liverpool victims who are complainants. He would also side with the S*n.

This might explain why he tries to dismiss the relevance of the Hillsborough disaster, questions the motives of the Justice Committee and reads and suppoprts the S*N.

There is a contempt for the city of Liverpool and its people and of LFC running through all Oldham’s statements and actions and a kind of unfocused anger. He tries to compensate for this from time to by sickly expressions of love for the club and unconvincing claims to be what he calls a “red”.

  35. where's the updates Says:

    hi

i was wondering if dunc had managed to assassinate II? maybe on the 22nd he mentioned as this is the longest I can remember without an update?

  36. Trusty_Rusty Says:

Where’s the updates from insider? FFS it’s been a week. Fatty needs to be followed up from his lies.

  37. Tubby Says:

I hope this is the Kalm before the storm.

  38. rupertinsider Says:

I guess Insider he must be very busy or not up to it.

I’ve been moving house – twice. I would log into KT and have a go but to be honest I can’t stomach it. Who would want to read Oldham’s one lines about his betting addiction, or his taste in coffee? And Katie’s vapid, content-free comments and silly flirting with men twice here age?

When Oldham was on News Now attracting thousands of lurkers every day, and waylaying internet searches for LFC and when he had hundreds if not thousands of members – and raking in lots of money for fake “charities” and fake memorabilia and lying about the players and the board and the investors – then I would grit my teeth, force myself to read his shit – if only to help bring him down.

But now he is exposed as a whimpering wannabe porn merchant kicked out of News Now, kicked in the arse by LFC for his lies, terrified of selling fake memorabilia, or starting new fake charities, scared even to be seen mixing with LFC supporters and reduced to a handful of members – the weird cultists and a few unsuspecting newcomers – not to mention those waiting out the expiry of their annual membership.

I’ve no idea if he’s said or done anything noteworthy in the last week or so – I have been working on the assumption that other contributors will give us a heads up if he does.

  39. Tubby Says:

Good to hear Dunk is whimpering in his box where he belongs.

  40. Trusty_Rusty Says:

Rupert, Fatty will see this as a sign of weakness from those who are exposing him. We cannot rest until he is either behind bars or has closed up shop.

  41. RedinSweden Says:

I am not sure if exif information is transferred when you upload a picture to the web, but when you take a picture with a digital camera it stores a lot of metadata about the camera, date, time etc. It would be interesting to see if the exif data still exists on the pictures he posted up and if then the photos were taken with the same camera, juust out of interest.
Something like http://www.tawbaware.com/exifread.htm could be used to view the data. I can’t install it where i am as i am not admin. maybe someone could give it a whirl and let us know if any information is saved.
I really find it suspicious that Dunk, if he had gone to the match, would not have had his poor manservant take a phot of his big stupid face inside the ground. It would be too good to miss.

  42. Red Lion Landlord Says:

I wondered why he didnt point the camera at Steve or himself throughout the Nou Camp footage. Remember, he carefully made sure to show the days paper and flight number in the first vid. To my mind that was solely to show this blog that he really made the trip. I think Im right in remembering that he was asked to show pictures of him in Barca with a copy of the days papers. He must have footage of himself or Steve at the game, he’d do it just to prove he was there.

I think he probably has pics/film as “proof” but chose not to put it up. I bet he was hoping the blog writers would go to town with “he wasnt there” articles, and then he would pull out snippets showing them both in the stadium.

Having said all that, the stadium footage still looks like its been filmed with a phone when compared with what he filmed earlier in the day.

  43. Red Lion Landlord Says:

Also, I think its a good sign that there are fewer updates. Its obvious the blog authors and contributors/others are still watching him, its just that there is less to report as the KlapTrap forums are a wasteland. It would amuse me though if I visited here and the entry was just:

“Nothing happening, Dunks a cunt and the forums are deserted”

  44. Tubby Says:

Haha, so Dunk goes to Barca to prove a point and the blog ignores him. That’s gold.
