Another look at Koptalk's Value for Money

Does Newcastle season-ticket-holder and owner of anti-LFC site “Koptalk.coN”, Mr Duncan Oldham, have any contacts at Anfield?

No. None at all.

He used to pretend he was in for regular chats with Gerard Houllier! Yes, “tea and biccies” as he put it. Of course this was never the case, but thousands of people believed it.

He also claimed to have regular meetings and chats with Rick Parry. Later on this turned into him having blackmail threats against Parry. And yet later still this turned into an admission that no, actually, he’d never actually met Parry at all. No apology though, just a claim that anyone who believed anything like that was stupid.

So – are you still a “stupid” Koptalk member? Or have you seen sense and left?

The world’s full of con-artists. And the internet is part of the world now too, so it is also full of con-artists. The image of the internet conman is usually portrayed as some teenage geek living in a far-flung part of the world, thousands of miles away from Anfield and Liverpool’s home. But the con-artists are much nearer than you might think in some cases. The Oldham-MacNeish clan being a case in point. Living in Wallsend, they prefer to con people from overseas, because they know there’s less chance of being caught up with by Scandinavian, Australian or Irish Reds. Well not any more.

Just like Koptalk have used the internet to rip off their victims, you can use the internet to get back at them. Contact Pay Pal if that was how you paid for your goods. Contact your credit card company too. Don’t let him keep the money he took from you. If his occasional boasts (when he’s not pleading poverty) are true, he’s not short of cash. Last year he was claiming to have over 5000 members on his pay-site. Some of those were there under the welched “lifetime member” scheme, but most were paying members. Let’s say that just 3000 of them paid the lower membership fee for the Gold Club, that £78,000 per year he was making from his made-up stories and his strings of lies.

So don’t feel bad about asking for a refund. Especially if you paid twice. Or got a ball that had been signed by an arthritic gorrila rather than the Liverpool players it was advertised as having been signed by. Maybe you bought one of the fake Robbie Fowler signed shirts – £199 each, fake, supposedly all proceeds to go to Lauren. We’ve asked Oldham to prove that she did get any of this money. He can’t, because she didn’t.

So, anyone still reading, do you really think Oldham has contacts at the club? He hasn’t. He’s got Sky Sports, and e-Season ticket, a moving-dish satellite system and broadband. They are his sources. Don’t believe anything else he tells you.

One of his sources told him about the takeover…

Gerrard says he’s “excited” about the investment situation. He says he’s been told it will happen this week. He’s not concerned because he knows Moores will do the right thing for the club.

(Speaking live on Sky Sports News, England press conference(

I’ve no problem myself with the owner of an LFC site telling us that Steven Gerrard made that comment in an England press conference that was televised by Sky. My problem is when that site owner tries to make me pay for that kind of information after lying about where it all comes from. Duncan Oldham once claimed that Steven Gerrard was a member of his “Gold Club”! A big fat lie, but how many thirty quids did it bring in?

Dunk’s also got access to the printed media. He gets the S*n delivered every day (he admitted this, so anyone who still thinks he’s a good Red think again) along with other papers, like The Mirror and The Star. He also reads the internet sites of the papers too. The Liverpool Echo’s website spoke about John Miskelly’s bid still being “on the table” last week, and this has been picked up elsewhere too. It’s also been mentioned on some of the other LFC forums frequented by people who have got access to inside information (in other words, not Koptalk). So Dunk took some quotes of the ‘net, and added a bit of bull.

This is one of Dunk’s funniest pretend-to-have-inside-info posts in a while…

Irish businessman John Miskelly could link up with Steve Morgan to form a new consortium to try and launch a joint takeover of the club.

Both men have been linked with the club before and it’s even been mooted that Morgan could create some kind of alliance with George Gillett Jnr.

A spokesperson for billionaire Miskelly, said: “We intend to speak to Mr Morgan because we believe a partnership could work and would be in the best interests of the club.”

Morgan, L4 (which included American businessman Bob Kraft and Reds legend Kenny Dalglish), the Thais and DIC all spent a small fortune trying to buy into the club.

According to the board, Morgan “undervalued” the club when he tried to buy in. Throw in the fact that the Liverpool chairman can’t stand the bloke and you can see why he’s continually failed to get a foot in, even though he’s the club’s third biggest shareholder. He refuses to give up his hope of getting more involved with his beloved LFC.

L4 – headed by two Liverpool fans and of course the King – walked away from the table when it became clear at the time that the club only wanted a minor investor. Kraft claimed he was “insulted” by the way the Reds conducted themselevs and there were also siggestions from him of underhand tactics by LFC executives. The L4 door remains open but the club would have to approach them. Kraft though wouldn’t be involved but L4 found another backer more powerful than Kraft. Although L4 are no longer sniffing around, we’ve chosen not to reveal who would have supplied the kitty had they got in. Unlike Morgan, L4 were never desperate to buy in, they formed to try and prevent the club selling out to the Thais.

The Thais cooled their interest after seeing the books and DIC, as we know, say they won’t pay over the odds for the shares and basically claim that Moores and Parry are a couple of numpties who bottled it.

Dunk isn’t it common knowledge – as reported in the press that the Thais pulled out as the public were not happy at funding the deal through a lottery. It was not deemed reasonsable for a government that has some people living bemow the bread line spending millions on a football club, don’t even think they had a detailed look at the books.
Also Kraft is still on speaking terms with the board, was it last year that Parry went over to see him and see how to runa sport franchise?

The Thais had weakened their approach before they imploded. They wanted a greater examination of the ins and outs. Shortly after that, they caved in and it all died because of their own problems. Had they not had those problems, they wouldn’t have pushed ahead with investment, in my opinion.

Parry has met up with Kraft to desperately bring him back but officially we were picking his brain about building a new stadium (advice). Just because he walked doesn’t mean they don’t keep in touch but there’d be a lot of building to do on that relationship. Parry tried to cut out L4 and work directly with Kraft but he didn’t like that.

Ha ha haaa! Well done Dunk. You’ve tried hard to make it sound like you know something, but the result instead was that you’ve made yourself look stupid. Well, not as stupid as you looked with that towel on your head, but stupid nonetheless.

You’ve no inside information, no contacts, no clue.

How long until that thread disappears?

The following post was cut and pasted by me a while back, and I never got round to using it. I found it by accident just now and thought it would be of interest to readers of this blog. Especially anyone thinking of parting with that £30. It seems this was posted in December, just before the transfer window opened.

We have a lot of threads where we are all saying who we would like but are there any insider tips around for who we are planning to move for? Maybe they have been moved in the website shake up and I can’t find them or maybe they just don’t exist because everything is waiting on the outcome of the investment. Anybody have any ideas?

Rafa himself doesn’t know what funds he will have available yet. It’s very quiet at the moment.

I think it’s been well reported who he’d like in January. I’ve read posts on here and in the news section about this.

If you pick up a newspaper all of them are talking about who other clubs want, there’s no mention of us at the moment but that should change soon.

Yes he knows who he wants and can afford but there is every chance that his kitty could be boosted. I think he’ll be in no rush to spend on the opening day and that we may see more things happening as the month draws on.

he may not know quite yet what his maximum budget will be but he definatly knows what his minimum budget is.
and i wouldnt even be surprised if he knows if he`l be getting anything extra.
there is a chance that by waiting on the out come of the deal that it may leave it to late to complete any tranfers.
which is something im sure has been taking into consideration.

Now if I’m not mistaken “ST3” posted that at the time Dunk was pretending to be in New York, pretending to buy a property, with the help of Smoove’s pretend brother, staying in pretend hotel, after flying in on a pretend flight, with pretend internet access. You get the idea. “ST3” was actually Dunk, and Dunk was making himself look stupid. Again.

Still not sure if the Koptalk Members site is for you? Here’s an example of some “insider” talk…

I am not asking to be told that we could be signing Neill etc, I just wondered if the likes of Johnny H/Private eye etc had any news as they usually come forward and tend to pull names out of a hat that no one has thought of and they turn out to be correct ala Bolo Zenden.

Maybe I have missed a post loaded with juicy titbits

Afterall this is what this sight is all about, getting a bit of info beforehand so you can pretend to be in the know, with your mates 🙂

The Informer was in the other day. Fair play, he/she gave us a bit about Ayala being a possibility. It may have also been mentioned previously within News Now (not having a go at The Informer at all).

Our favourire site, however, is particularly “dry” of source information these days.

Yeah but nobody even bothers to make it up these days…

that is half the fun. We havent heard the name Aimar mentioned yet but I am sure he is one of Rafas favourites and that he is unhappy at Valencia at the moment…

One member says it’s ok to pay £30 to read made-up stuff, but I think most people would agree. Why pay £30 for it? There is nothing in the Koptalk Members area that you can’t get for free elsewhere, with the possible exception of the discussions on how many sugars Dunk wants in his coffee.

Koptalk has not revealed a single piece of transfer news since this blog began. Not one. It knew nothing about the investment’s many twists and turns since this blog began. We can prove those two facts – but it doesn’t take much imagination to realise that this is how it’s always been. Koptalk has no inside contacts. At all.

Boycott Koptalk. It supports the S*n, and it’s crap anyway.

Koptalk frequent vocabulary used mostly when talking about transfers..

    could

    mooted

    according

    remains open
    sniffing around

    doesn’t know
    may or may not

  3. Integral Says:

Haha! “May or may not”, what a fucking Class A prick. This Oldham is really taking the piss. Still got a couple of months of my membership left. Feel sorry for the mugs who still renew their subs. Luckily only wasted one payment on this fat parasite. Oldham you better start learning to pick up the soap with your feet buddy, your gonna regret this when you get sent down…. Con artist of the lowest denominator.

  4. Tim Says:

Nice to see dunc still does his research. Since when is Miskelly a billionaire? He only has about £150m

  5. btb Says:

Loved his comments about the take over, doesn’t have much intelligence and this easily proved by someone with no inside info and a small amount of intelligence.

Sons of the Desert- club Laurel and Hardy in, good names to describe Dunk and Ste I think.

  6. kraptalk user Says:

Luckily my membership runs out soon too and boy will i be looking forward to giving him as much stick on my last day. Its a bit like your last day of school. Does anyone know where to get some virtual eggs, rotted fish guts and a virtual shit parcel?
The fat man is gonna get it good style.

  7. btb Says:

5 months membership left – how stupid was I. Can’t wait to abuse the fat **** on my last day.

  8. kraptalk user Says:

The thing is though BTB, fat bastard has only a few members left so he could narrow down whose memberships are due to run out, and with you saying 5 months that could lead him to banning you for fear of a virtual shit parcel. It wont be hard to narrow the only dozen members he has left, that is why i wont say when my membership runs out. Just a little tip. Wouldnt want you to waste more money than we both have already done. Its better to lurk in the background, remain civil (to KT) to at least get little bits of info out there then BAMM, abuse him on our last day.

  9. kraptalk user Says:

Like Michael Corleone says – “Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer”

  10. SteveO Says:

@btb, you should ask for a refund of at least your remaining sub on the grounds that he has not provided anything that he promised – otherwise you will report him to paypal/trading standards. Also, ask for a VAT receipt.

Dunk, if you are watching (we know you are), maybe your next sub will be from me – you never know. I shall expect VAT and provision of the advertised services.

  11. btb Says:

SteveO, you only have to register for VAT if your income from subs etc is over £62,000. I doubt he has that kind of income anymore.
Not worried about him banning me, he would be stupid to do so without giving me a refund, I have broken no rules, if he didn’t refund the money he owed me I would spend the £30 taking him to small claims court. Very easy and cheap to do. If he looses he has to pay up, costs and all, still fails to pay it would become a ccj.
