Dunk's response to our Katrina warning…

Dunk read our story about Katie / Katrina last night at about 10.40pm. Or so it seems…

…. watch some **** spoil it

Katie (real name Katrina) stopped posting on Koptalk soon after. Had she, or one of her friends, seen our story? Dunk’s own posting stopped at about 1.30am.

Well at 4.09am, in a typical Koptalk Koincidence, Dunk had an announcement to make…

At around 2.30am this morning (Monday), an ambulance was called to take Katie to hospital following an accident at home.

I am informed that she has lost quite a bit of blood following a fall and that she had to go to hospital to try and stop the bleeding. As soon as I have more information I will update you accordingly.

As a result of this, you may have problems contacting KopTalk on Monday morning. Steve is on his way to the hospital.

She’s only a young lass so she’s naturally really upset and worried. She was conscious and I did speak to her by phone before the ambulance arrived

She had a fall at 2.30am. Out on the beer and fell when drunk? Was “the fall” a cover up for some violence she’d suffered at the hands of one of her own family? Where was the “quite a bit of blood” lost from?

If this happened, and to be honest I very much doubt it did, I expect it was nothing more than a need for a couple of stitches.

And why does Steve need to go to the hospital?

Remembering how Dunk’s bullshit stories never quite join up, remember this, from what Dunk has told us. Katrina lives in Scarborough, but joined Koptalk when she started college in Newcastle. She was to stay at Dunk’s mams.

Dunk’s claims as to where he lives vary – sometimes it’s in Scarborough, sometimes it’s in Newcastle, sometimes it’s with his wife. He claims his kids live with him or don’t live with him, depending on how the situation suits him. It’s not just us he’s lying to of course, as well as his falling Koptalk audience he worries about the likes of the government who he’s also ripping off one way or another, and that probably includes the CSA.

Steve supposedly lives at “Koptalk HQ” – a house bought especially for Koptalk as an office. Or was the office just the portakabin in the garden? Steve gets to live in the house rent-free as part of his unpaid job. Then sometimes Steve lives with Dunk and his mam (Steve’s is Dunk’s step-brother). Either way, Steve lives in Wallsend. Dunk once told us that it takes him almost as long to get to Scarborough from Wallsend as it does to get to Liverpool from Wallsend.

Katrina got booted out of college last year (or quit). She’s back living in Scarborough, as far as we know. And Dunk says her fall took place “at home”. So she’s in Scarborough too.

Katrina is conscious according to Fatty, which I translate as: “She’s not done anything that would have made her lose conciousness.” Unpleasant (if it happened) – but nothing too major.

So why is Steve having to drive two hours (or whatever it was Dunk claimed) to the hospital to go and see her get her stitches done in casualty? She’ll probably be out before he gets there, even allowing for the queues in casualty.

Sounds to me like Dunk’s had a resignation from Koptalk from Katrina / Katie, and he’s using this story as a cover to retire her from Koptalk.

I hope so, for her sake. Katrina – get out while you can. And if Dunk or any other family member has committed any act of violence towards you make sure you report him.

There’s little need for me to comment on this next batch of stuff. There’s a lot of it, but it’s a Koptalk Komedy Klassic. Dunk, using his alias of “The Informer”, made a major cock-up last week when making up some poorly-thought-out bullshit about Lucas Neill. He had to even edit his initial post after getting Steven Gerrard’s wages wrong. After that it just never would work for him…

Loc: Liverpool I’m informed that Lucas Neill has been offered approximately £70000 per week in wages to join Liverpool. This would make him a bigger earner than Harry Kewell.

Steven Gerrard remains the club’s top earner after his wage, bonuses and so on. His deal is structured differently to Neills but the gap between their actual weekly earnings wouldn’t be that great which is remarkable for Neill if he was to accept the package offered to him. Neill would also receive a significant signing-on fee that would make his weekly income from Liverpool look even more attractive.

All the stories this afternoon suggest that West Ham are favoutires to sign him as they’ve offered him the best deal (Sky Sports), so I find it difficult to believe that we would offer that much especially after the quotes by Rafa today saying that he needs a decision soon or else!

Thanks for clearing that up because the skipper is the biggest earner. Obviously Neill is available on a free soon so it looks like his agents are demanding a substantial signing on fee that will be spread over his contract which in turn lifts his weekly wage. I wouldn’t be surprised if this came to £70k per week tops. Such deals are hard to negotiate when no major fee is involved. But £70k a week? That’s staggering IMHO.

Posts: 379 thats not correct – liverpool have a very strict wage structure which funnily enough is similar to championship manager. I should know as my friends are connected with the banking of tranmere and liverpool.

Liverpool set out first team regular, squad player etc as the basis for any contractural talks. Neil’s position is classed as squad player and that puts him at a maximum £30,000 per week.

Yes he may get a £1m/£2m signing on fee which spread over 4 years would be potentially an extra £20,000 per week but the figures quoted do not match what i have been told nor what Bascombe is reporting.

West Ham have leapt to the front of the queue for Lucas Neill and are close to tying up a deal for the Australian star, skysports.com has learnt.

Neill has also been in talks with both Liverpool and Newcastle, with long-time favourites Reds once looking likely to seal a move.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is keen to secure Neill, but he has thus far failed to offer a suitable package to the 28-year-old.

However, following talks – Neill looks as if he could be heading back to London, where he starred for Millwall before joining Blackburn.

Rovers have given up hope of persuading the defender to stay at the club and are now set to cash in on a player, who could depart for nothing in the summer.

West Ham boss Alan Curbishley is looking to spend big this month as he tries to save The Hammers from relegation.

Nigel Quashie and Luis Boa Morte have already signed and now he is obviously hoping that Neill will join the influx.

While West Ham close on Neill’s signature, it cannot be ruled out that both Liverpool and Newcastle may make last-ditch bids to grab him.

Should West Ham finalise the transfer it is not thought Paul Konchesky will be heading in the opposite direction as part of this deal.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has suggested that The Reds would not make a renewed bid for Neill.

“We are continuing working on these things but we will not wait. If a player wants to come to play for Liverpool, he must say yes quickly,” said Benitez.

“If he thinks about it for too long, maybe it’s a signal it’s time for us to look for other players. We have alternatives

Loc: A Town Called Malice I would beleive that if this deal was happening in the summer, but as blacknurn are after compensation (Warnock-£1.5m?)surely that would bring the signing on fee down and negate the possibility of a huge signing on fee.

Is it a good deal for us? Depends on how much you think he’s worth in todays crazy market. I would say he would touch the £4m bracket if he had 3yrs left or so. Thats a saving of £2.5m and that as a signing on fee, spread over his contract could push the weekly wage up.

Would West Ham offer more than that? It appears they are desperate so will offer anything. Neill will join us, of this I have no doubts, but of course at his age he’s gonna make sure that this deal is the best he can possibly get. He’s just stalling to get more money, not being greedy, just doing what the vast majority of players do. I anticapate him to sign by 1600hrs tomorrow. And I expect the wages to be less than predicted.

I really hope this isn’t true but if The Informer and Dunk are hearing the same thing then it might well have some truth in it.
I’m scundered at this

I haven’t heard anything at all mate. I’ve only read the same as you and then I’ve dug around some Australian newspapers

It’s only speculation I guess.

Yeah I suppose it is but if the Chavs are genuinely involved in the bidding then the wages will rise to stupid levels. Even Newcastle’s interest will send the pay demands through the roof because they havent a clue

Loc: West Wales Crazy.

We have to consider also that Warnock has gone the other way and he must be worth a million or so.

Looks like one hell of a lot of money for a player who hasn’t played at the top level with a top club.

What will our other players think?

How much are Xabi, Carra, Reina etc on? Surly they will be miffed if he gets close to or even more than them.

We should scrap the deal now.

Loc: England Look I want Neill and I believe he has what it takes to give our defence a bit more of a bite!

At 30,000-70,000 a week. That’s a bargain for a player we could be getting on the cheap due to his contract running out. Anything we save in not having to pay Blackburn will be probably be added to his wage. Either way the package will probably be the same.

He’s an Australian international, has played in the WC and is proven in the Prem. How can that not be a bargain?!

Loc: Aarhus, Denmark thx for the info…

however it is an absolutly ridicoulous wages for a player no better than neill. I doubt it big time, that he would get does kind of wages at LFC – don’t know about the other clubs being touted, but not us. IF it is true, it could have devastating consequences for the wage structure at the club, as other players in the squad proberly would want similar deals and future players would get to big expectations…

I have more of a feel that this is his agents work to put pressure on us to up the deal to a bit more than the 30k reported earlier…

I can’t believe that Rafa values Niell at 70k per week..£3.5m per year..he’s never that great! If he does then I would have to wonder if he’s lost touch with reality! Certainly West Ham seem to have done.

I hope it’s not true, that seems like an awful lot of money for in my opinion a mediocre player.

I hope he goes to the Hammers, we can pick him up for less than 50% of that once they’ve been relelgated next season.

He’ll come crawling back then!

Yes he may get a £1m/£2m signing on fee which spread over 4 years would be potentially an extra £20,000 per week but the figures quoted do not match what i have been told nor what Bascombe is reporting.

Dunk Bascombe wrote a few days ago that he would be offered a maximum £30,000 a week and my source seems to suggest that is true. This emans 2 things:

1. He will be gettign a signiong on fee which blurs how much the deal is worth over 4 years (e.g 4 year deal £30,000 with £1.5m signing on fee = £7.1m deal broken down = £1.75m a year roughly being £45,000 a week)

2. His agents want westham and everyone else to keep offering crazy money. Where are these stories being leaked from as it is not blackburn or liverpool.

With respect Rafa has stated and bascombe has stated that neil and mascherano are seen as cheap short term deals which if they dont go through by mid jan we will look elsewhere as opposed to kuyt, alves, reina, sissoko who were tracked for ages.

Everyone dont believe all that you read! (unless i have written it obviously)

Well done Rafa for that!. If any player has to be persuaded to come here then he can sod off and go and pay for some middle of the table lot.

I really like it when Rafa comes out with comments like that – it puts the players in their place and lets them know they’re not as important as perhaps they think they are.

Neill is believed to be considering an offer from the Hammers worth a much larger wage packet than Liverpool is prepared to offer.

Neill’s representatives are reportedly demanding STG30,000 ($A75,367) a week for the player, but Benitez insists he will look elsewhere if a decision is not made soon by the 2006 World Cup player.

Another paper quotes £68,000 a week and comes from his agents also…..

His deal is structured differently to Neills but the gap between their actual weekly earnings wouldn’t be that great which is remarkable for Neill if he was to accept the package offered to him. Neill would also receive a significant signing-on fee that would make his weekly income from Liverpool look even more attractive.

Loc: Liverpool It is being reported that Neill is travelling to London tonight for a medical and finalise a £1.25 million move to West Ham.

Liverpool were unwilling to match the financial terms on offer to Neill at West Ham, where he is expected to earn more than £50,000 a week.

“Lucas has agreed terms on a two-and-a-half-year deal with West Ham and is looking to the challenge ahead,” his agent, Peter Harrison, said.

I think we are buying Lucas to be a starting CB for us. Carra hasnt had as good a season as last, and i think Rafa may see Carra, Neill and Agger as the perfect triumvirate of stoppers to mount a title charge next season. No great weaknesses in any of them, apart from Carra’s passing, and even that isnt as bad as it was.

If there is any truth in this then it can only mean that the takeover is going to go through next week and Rafa has been promised a sh*tload of cash immediately. Neil is only worth about half of that amount per week.

Loc: On Top We don’t have to buy out his contract so, actually it’s probably quite cheap for us.

Any way, who cares.

Not exactly signing of the century is he?

His deal is structured differently to Neills but the gap between their actual weekly earnings wouldn’t be that great which is remarkable for Neill if he was to accept the package offered to him. Neill would also receive a significant signing-on fee that would make his weekly income from Liverpool look even more attractive.

I’d have a word with your source if I were you – he’s making you look a right tool there!

Second highest earner almost on a par with Gerrard…..when Bascombe and everyone else with contacts at the club reckons he’s been offered £30k or less and that’s why he’s stalling

Posts: 14874 I can’t see him getting much more than £45k-a-week but I think what some people are trying to say or imply is that with the signing on fee, that basic wage could rise much higher, and that is common in football. I’m not sure though if that could rise as high as £70k. The Australian Independent suggests he will net £68,000-a-week.

If that’s what he is getting at West Ham then it is no wonder we are backing off from the deal. I’m not doubting that they might have offered it to him – he would instantly become one of their star players. But I cannot for even one second believe that we have! It may be what his agent demanded, but I would bet everything I have that Parry et al never came close to considering offering him such a deal.

Posts: 188 Haven’t got any inside info but I doubt very much if he has been offered anything like that by Liverpool. Maybe by another and that is why he is not committing to Liverpool right away. I dont think that he is worth that and if he’s not committed to us then let him join someone else. Could be in the Championship with West Ham next year!

would be a major coup if we managed that one, but remember reading somewhere else tonight ( think it was bbc ) that he has said he want to stay at Man City.

obviously what he says and what he actually does are two different things ….. 😉

Posts: 14874 Liverpool bemused after Neill opts for West Ham riches
Oliver Kay
Liverpool, in common with most clubs, have grown wearily accustomed to being outmuscled in the transfer market by Chelsea in recent years, but not by West Ham United. The Merseyside club were left mystified last night by Lucas Neill’s decision to reject them in favour of a more lucrative offer from West Ham, who are desperately seeking players in an attempt to avoid relegation from the Barclays Premiership.

The East London club were also in the process of signing Calum Davenport to bolster their back four. The Tottenham Hotspur defender was undergoing a medical at Upton Park and is likely to move for a fee of about £3 million.

Neill, the Blackburn Rovers defender, was expected to travel to London last night to undergo a medical examination and put the finishing touches to a £1.25 million move. The deal has left Liverpool in a state of bemusement, given that the Australian was thought to have set his heart on a move to Anfield, but the Merseyside club were unwilling to match the financial terms on offer at West Ham, where Neill is expected to earn more than £50,000 a week. “Lucas has agreed terms on a 2½-year deal with West Ham and is looking to the challenge ahead,” Peter Harrison, his agent, said last night.

If Neill’s decision to turn his back on the prospect of Champions League football in favour of a relegation scrap hints of a lack of ambition, the 28-year-old does at least have a contingency plan in place. He is understood to have insisted on a clause in his contract that allows him to leave Upton Park if West Ham are relegated, although he may be forced to cross Merseyside off any list of possible summer destinations.

Having thought that the deal for Neill was a formality after agreeing to let Stephen Warnock join Blackburn in a straight swap, Benítez hinted at uncertainty for the first time yesterday. “We are continuing working on these things, but we will not wait. If a player wants to come to play for Liverpool, he must say yes quickly,” the manager said.

“If he thinks about it for too long, maybe it’s a signal it’s time for us to look for other players. We have alternatives.” These may include a short-term deal for Roberto Ayala, the 33-year-old Valencia defender.

The terms of West Ham’s offer to Blackburn are not clear, but Paul Konchesky, who had attracted interest from the Lancashire club, appears to have been ruled out as a makeweight in the deal. Blackburn may yet renew their bid to sign Warnock, but, having missed out on Neill, Benítez will demand at least £2 million for the left back.

And with that Fatty locked the thread. A disaster, his one hope of drumming up some transfer-window interest crashed and burned. Pathetic.

So he drew even more attention to it by posting again as “The Informer” with a silly, ill-thought-out apology…

Loc: Liverpool I have popped on to apologise after hearing that Lucas Neills future has been resolved.

A few days ago I posted that there were issues with his wages during negotiations and it appears I misheard what I was told and garbled things up a bit.

I said that Liverpool had offered him a hefty salary and signing on fee that would work out at around £70000 per week. This wasn’t the case. What I should have said was that he had demanded this from the club. That is what I must have been told but I didn’t pay enough attention.

Until then nothing had really been said about his high wage demands so I hope you accept that I had been passed some news but that I misunderstood it. It wasn’t my intention to mislead anyone.

Thank you. I didn’t say we would sign him. I was talking to someone at the club about his salary and I was in such a rush that I didn’t really take in what he had said.

I thought he said we’d offered that amount but it turns out the player was demanding it.

Seriously though I feel that missing out on Neill is a merciful release. Does anyone really beleive Westham are going to sign loads of wow players as he says.

Calum Davenport…

One of their best players is coming to us.

just wait until he finds himself on the market again because he has invoked his relegation clause…

Really forget about it, it is unheard of for any human being to be 100% correct all the time. So there is no need to apologies.

However you have now gone up a level because it takes a really strong and confident man to admit he was wrong. And that is the real key to becoming a legend.

Will there now be a Katrina appeal?

  2. Tubby Says:

    Hurrikane Katrina?

  3. rupertinsider Says:

Its all gobshite. I saw the 70,000 a week in one of the weekend papers. I also saw a statement from Neill that he chose West Ham because Liverpool showed no enthusiasm in buying him and made him a take it or leave it offer and no guarantee of a first team place.

If the offer was 70,000 why does he want to accept less from West Ham?

So the upshot of all this is that another ridiculous lazy lie from the fat slob Oldham generates some traffic on his dying site.

As for Katrina and bleeding – this is another pirouette on thin ice by the elephant. He would love to be able to say that the blog drove her to attempted suicide or some such thing. But having tried the rape of his 8 year old daughter and a few other melodramatic whoppers to deflect criticism in the past he knows (a) that he won’t get away with any more bullshit and (b) that we’ll shove it down his throat for ever after. So he just hints and implies. He’s fishing for more expressions of empty concern from his “internet family” – the emotionally starved few who still visit his site.

That’s what Koptalk is about these days – stolen training at Melwood photos, ridiculous lies from Oldham disguised as the Informer, reports on Oldham’s moods, and the usual dysfunctional family blood-and-guts melodrama.

Why was he informed at dawn about Katrina bleeding? He is not family, is he? Is there some other connection we don’t know about? Or was it Steve who was informed and Oldham stuck his oar in? And if she had a problem that would prevent her travelling a few hours to work for him in Wallsend on the Monday, surely he could be told on Monday during working hours. Why wake him with a phone call at 3- or 4 am? And why will Koptalk come to a halt because a part-time worker has to go for stitches or whatever? People pay 30 quid for a service – there’s no clause in there that it only works if a part-time worker and a step-brother are around. Oldham claims 24 x 7 maintenance of the site and a legal team and a large staff and on and on.

And the Steve angle. Why would a fellow unwaged worker go to the hospital – doesn’t she have a proper family? I see lots of coy hints and nudges about the relationship between Steve and Katie from him and from Oldham.

There is something very fishy about this story – as about every other story coming out of Oldham’s mouth. I can think of at least half a dozen potential causes of bleeding. But it would be embarassing for Katrina if I were to tick them off. Doesn’t she and her family not understand that just as Oldham has made an exhibtion of his own family he is now making an exhibition of Katrina opening her private life and intimate details to public speculation on a football site in order to serve his own ends. Don’t they realise that he acts as though that kids and vulnerable youngsters are his property to use as he wants.

But all this huffing and puffing won’t divert attention from the facts. Whatever bluster he throws up he and Steve will still have to face the tax man and the benefits fraud investigators and the charity commissioners and the fraud squad – hopefully Katrinas “cry for help” will get her out of there before its too late for her, too.

  4. The Oracle Says:

Dunk really is scraping the bottom of the barrel…which is what he’s always done.

    We’re watching you, Oldham.

  5. fat_boy_fat Says:

The funniest thing about ALL that bullshit is the Lucas Neill one.
The informer posts his “inside” news about Neill wanting 70k a week. People come on and attack it as total shite. Knowing that the informers credabitily with the last few who actually believe him is in the balance, Oldham pops up with the ive seen it reported that he was offered $170,000 AUD, and then acts all dumb with “how much is that”. YEAH like you dont know you fat wanker! You know how much it worked out at because you already done it to post your story as “the informer”
YOU ARE SUCH A THICK TOSSER! your the only one stupid enough not to see through your crappy made up storys.

And dont even get me started on that bollox Katie story……… (this is what happened in Dunks head. Its called DuncanWorld)
iTS MY SAD DUTY TO REPORT THAT KATIE WAS ATTACKED IN THE STREET BY 12 MASKED MEN, WHO TRIED TO STEAL HER ARM FROM HER. SHE RANG STEVE TO SAY HER ARM WAS BEING ROBBED AND STEVE GOT IN HIS BAT CAR AND WENT AND SAVED HER FROM GETTING HER ARM ROBBED AND TWATED ALL THE 15 MASKED AND ARMED ALIENS. SADLY THOUGH KATIE LOST AT LEAST 29 GALLONS OF BLOOD IN THE ‘FIGHT’. LUCKLY STEVE HAS SOME TO SPARE SO ACTUALLY SAVED HER LIFE. KATIE IS NOW FINE IN HOSPITAL BUT STEVE IS MISSING. I THINK THE ALIENS MAY HAVE ABDUCTED HIM.

This is what happened in real life. Katie went out on the lash, fell over and cut her elbow and had to have a BIG plaster put on it.

  6. McWar Says:

More shite from the fat one, I pray for the day I meet him face to face.

  7. Koptalksucks.com Says:

@f_b_f: Love your little story lol.

“Katie went out on the lash” (possibly with Lauren)”, fell over and cut her elbow and had to have a BIG plaster put on it.”

  8. Chris Says:

i find the scenario absolutely hilarious.

within an hour and a half of poor katrina being rushed to hospital, dunk decides to put his concerns for one of his valued members of staff to one side and finds the need to boot up his computer and spread the news. sadly, its probably the only breaking news he’ll get right this year, unless it is only time of the month in which case i look forward to next week’s blobcast.

  9. Red Lion Landlord Says:

On any other LFC forum that Neill thread would be laughed at and deleted by the mods. On kt, the mods start the thread and the members rip the piss out of it. I’m embarrassed for him.

Regarding “Katie”, shes obviously had enough and buggered off. Perhaps D*nk is trying to develop a blossoming portakabin-romance storyline involving his underlings, encouraging visitor interest in his tawdry cyber-soap.

  10. Justino Says:

She was back flirting on the Shoutbox last night

  11. rupertinsider Says:

That was probaly Oldham wearing his wig again and his Ma’s panties.

  12. insideme Says:

Anyone seem on Koptalks webcam (which is back after not being active for a while) there is a massive England St Georges Cross with Liverpool across it – a clear violation of KFS.

  13. SteveO Says:

DFLRowland seems like Dunce’s ideal customer. I wonder did he reply to Dunce’s ad
