Farts, Belches, Porn and "Transfer Frenzy at Anfield"

by Rupert Insider

Last week, the Koptalk Konman got thousands of money-generating hits from News Now readers for his EXCLUSIVE story that DIC had already made funds available for Rafa to go ahead with his interest in buying David Villa from Valencia. He would cost over £20 million, he told us sagely, because there was a £100 million buyout clause in his contract. He said he got the story from the “corridors of Anfield”.

A day later, Rick Parry nailed that one as “wildly speculative” saying that DIC had not done the takeover deal and LFC did not know if there would be any money for players in January.

Today Rafa buried it a bit deeper saying he had no interest in buying David Villa.

Undeterred, the Koptalk Konman wheeled out his Lucas Neil story. Koptalk was the last LFC site with that story in the summer, reporting it days after his “rivals”. But that did not stop him dusting it down and using it again – twice in the last few days. If you haven’t read his pearls of wisdom – he said that LFC may or may not be buying Lucas Neil – duh!

He also stole a few rumours from other sites and newspapers in the last few days without attributing his source. The Koptalk Konman’s January transfer bill is already about £145 million and January has not started yet.

Getting desperate he invented an unfunny headline about a “judge” returning to Anfield to introduce another manufactured piece about his pet-hate, Robbie Fowler.

His latest “exclusive” today is about Steve Gerrard’s MBE in the New Year’s Honours list.

He says he will have photos about it from Melwood later, but the press is embargoed from publishing anything until just after midnight.

In other words he has not found anywhere to nick the photos yet. If your interested, use the BBC or one of the online sites such as The Liverpool Daily Post and Echo. Why give Oldham clicks to look at his stolen goods?

Oldham couldn’t care less about you discovering that his stories are tricks and lies. All he wants is your clicks. He figures you’ll forget he fooled you last time when you see an enticing headline next time. You won’t be able to resist. And clicks are money in his pocket.

That’s how this anti-LFC, Newcastle season-ticket holder, exploits your interest in LFC.

The Oldham Robbie Fowler Hypocrisy

The Koptalk David Villa Lie

The Koptalk False Headline Technique

Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The transfer window is when he uses Koptalk Komic Kuts to earn enough money from News Now hits to keep him going until the summer transfer window and pay for his Mercedes upgrade.

You are his mark.

You can slow him down by refusing to click on any Kop Talk headline.

I say “slow him down” because we believe that he cheats News Now with a software fix that ensures he gets false clicks to push him into the Top Ten stories .

Whatever you decide to do about clicking, don’t send him any money. Don’t pay him £30 for more of the same bullshit, don’t buy fake LFC memorabilia from him or donate to his dodgy illegally unregistered charities and don’t give him your PayPal account number.

If you have ever listened to his Podcasts you will be accustomed to his burping, his fascination with the subject of child sex, and his toilet humour.

It gives something of the flavour of his site – Koptalk Komic Kuts. It has a tatty porno model whom he coyly presents on his MySpace profile as his “friend” – and an Adult Date Finder service, Betting Services, forums about race and religion, and gaudy, epilepsy-inducing ads announcing you are the lucky winner of this, that and the other.

Other than that the site is mainly about Oldham and his lugubriously dysfunctional family.

And in case you miss the point he has added a new feature today. But you get to use it only if you are one of his “mature” and “adult” members i.e. willing to pay him £30

fully support your campaign against that rubbish site. have been boycotting it for years for the same reasons, and hope all other fans will do so too

I’ve been reading this blog for a week or so now. I’ve had time to look back over some of the previous stories during holiday break. I’ve seen a fair amount of talk on the Internet about KopTalk before this blog. And thanks to those posts in the different LFC sites I’ve visited I’ve stayed away from KopTalk. Not to say I’ve never taken a peak here or there, but I’ve only ever read a few stories, never thought of subscribing. That was my choice, decided after reading what a fair few LFC supporters had to say about that site.

I have no way of knowing if the things you allege are true, but your arguements are truly passionate and seem genuine. That is why I read the blog; not to mention they can be quite funny at times. I hope you are genuine because it would be disappointing to find out this site is a con. Sorry for my skepticism.

Be that as it may, I will continue to read the blog and in an abundance of caution I have removed NewsNow from my favorites. I am taking the advice of the blog and getting my news from (as always .tv and the Echo), but also a small sampling of a few fan sites you mentioned last month that I have visited, but never with regularity.

Cheers Insiders and a happy new year.

News Now is useful as a news aggregator. You can find us there!

But Koptalk used to pay it a special fee to be featured ahead of other sources of LFC news and comment – while other LFC sources were suppressed. That situation has changed as a result of our lobbying News Now. The Koptalk special deal is finished. Other LFC sources have been admitted (including us). NN suspended Oldham for a time for abuse of its system. When it let him back it has restricted the number and content of his headlines. But like the cockroach, he is trying to make a come back right now.

People should use the feedback feature on News Now to complain about his domination of the Top Ten stories, misleading headlines, stolen stories and false stories.

If this blog is a con it is a very unusual one because we receive no money directly or indirectly even though we score thousands of hits daily. Have a look at the site – see – no ads or sponsorships or associates or nuthin.

Thanks for your kind words. Best wishes for the New Year.

Actually, I read koptalk for a while finding it useful as a news aggregator, am an overseas lfc fan, but since reading up on oldham on kraptalk and here, I’ve stopped giving him my clicks. I doubt he deserves them. Keep it up!

Drunk is now playing tricks with his news stories. This is what I told newsnow:

All headlines from koptalk take you to a screen which has most of the content obscured by a advertisement/graphic so that you have to refresh the screen for it to go away so that you can actually read it.

This is obviously a deliberate ploy to generate extra hits and I don’t think newsnow should be supporting sources using such dubious techniques.

I wish more people would follow your initiative.

The one single thing that could help him on his way is if NN were to block his access.

We can probably console ourselves with the thought that though NN continues to carry visitors to his site and give him advertising revenue, its most unlikely that many of them will pay for membership. If they do any kind of research at all they will find references to this blog all over the net.

But some still do sign up – especially overseas LFC fans who don’t know about him. They arrive at his site to look at a story and he tells them it is “Official” site with “News from LFC” and a bunch of other lies.

I am an overseas fan and used to visit KopTalk fairly often before.

It was difficult to ignore on NewsNow with attention catching headlines. He is a convincing conman to the unknowing surfer.

However, as I am constantly viewing and comparing as many sites and articles as I can, it is very clear now how misleading KopTalk is.

I have not clicked on any KopTalk link since the season began; thanks to the untiring effort of sites/blogs like this one which has exposed this con.

Dirty, self-serving people like Oldham have no place in the dignified community that is the Liverpool FC fanbase.

Keep up the good work guys and if there are any other cons out there………………..

can newsnow.com not shut him off to stop his thievery? i’d like to see this blog get more exposure too, i’m a former victim who only found about the whole scam because of the forum post on the official site.

We’ve had long complicated correspondence with them.

They admit they have had complaints about Koptalk for years. They did not admit until we exposed it that they had been taking a special fee from Koptalk to give his site preferential treatment and suppress other LFC sites. However they now say that arrangement is over.

They claimed that it was impossible for him to manipulate the hits. We showed them how it could be done and they thanked us and said they plugged that hole.

But there are other holes they have not plugged. They don’t like to admit that because it undermines their claims to advertisers that the hits are all genuine.

They are concerned. They need complainants to specify what precise post is the subject of the complaint and whether it is stolen copyright, or misleading title or what. They would also like the url of whatever he may have stolen without attribution.

But don’t let that stop anyone writing in with general comments. Its News Now problem to monitor him not ours.
They can make it as difficult as they like for complainers but in the end they are responsible.

If you want to be cynical you could say that what does it matter to News Now – they get his hits, the genuine and the false ones. They also get our hits.

But it would be bad for News Now ultimately if their advertisers got to know that some of the hits were false and that News Now were getting a lot of complaints for featuring a fraudulent site and broadcasting the sale of fake memorabilia and unregistered charities.

So I would encourage everyone to use the News Now feedback.

Where are the bloody pics ???

That’s his old technique in action. He used to say check back several times a day for transfer news updates.

He gets a click ever time – several if people then move around his site renewing pages.
