Another request for sympathy.

Started writing this on Saturday, but got sidetracked, then some football match took place on Sunday (I forget what it was) and before I know it it’s Monday afternoon. So I’ll try again…

People have been beginning to wonder, what’s happened to Koptalk (apart of course from its summer of self-destruction)? Well it seems something has happened that has upset Mr Oldham. He claimed, on Wednesday afternoon, that someone “close” has been taken ill. I’m not convinced. Partly because 99.9% of what comes out of Oldham’s mouth is bullshit. Here’s what he said…

A quick note to all

Reply to this post Reply

Someone very close to me has been taken ill. As a result I’ve been away from the site on-and-off over the last couple of days.

I’m hoping to be back on Thursday and hope that you understand that I won’t be online much for this evening’s game which I won’t get to see.

Steve, Katie, Smoove etc will still be on the forums and I will continue to ensure the site is updated. I’m still here but you may have noticed it’s been a little quiet the last couple of days.

Thanks and sorry.

Before I go on and anyone says I’m being callous – I allowed my 0.1% benefit of the doubt to stop me from posting this earlier in the week.

It’s, as always, a typical piece of Dunk sympathy seeking. He’s pissed off because Koptalk is coming to an end. Apart from a few people who’d be better off supporting Chelsea (and probably will before the year’s out) and some who are winding down the last of their subs by watching the site fall down completely, the site is hardly used by anyone. He’s made all kinds of claims about why he ditched the other bits of his sites (the truth being it collapsed). I think he’s had a visit from someone about his dodgy deeds. About time too – and if you’ve not shopped him yet then why not do it this afternoon. The more the merrier really.

On Thursday afternoon he posted this…

Just to let you know that I’m back at HQ. I’ll be catching up today and apologise for the minor break which was unavoidable. I didn’t even see the game or know the result until the early hours.

——————–

The strange thing was, he left that big gap between posting his “I’ve got to go” message and his “I’m back” message, claiming he didn’t even know the result of the Bordeaux game until “the early hours”. Is twenty-past midnight “the early hours”?

You see he made one of his classic cock-ups. Whilst pretending to have been called away overnight to visit a sickly rellie, and not getting back home again for 24 hours, he did a bit of a boo-boo. A small error. A little screw up. He’s thick you see, he’s prone to daft errors.

We’ve already commented on his lack of tickets for the Carling Cup game, and how he had to mysteriously cancel the draw. He actually said he’d lost one ticket, but still didn’t offer the other one (it didn’t exist). His cock-up was to post on the thread where he was telling his lies about the Reading tickets. In the list of threads you get on any forum, you get that summary information – who posted the topic, the topic title and of course who posted last and when they posted.

For the Reading tickets we had this…

* * . Reading tickets draw Dunk 313 0 Thu Oct 19 2006 12:21 AM by Dunk

Dunk had posted just after midnight, obviously having just thought up one of his cunning plans about how to get out of the competition. Then, later on, he realised that he wasn’t actually around really. How could he post if he wasn’t around? So, thick bastard he is, he thinks ‘I know best’ and deletes his post. Hopefully nobody will have spotted the post and he can always ban anyone who mentions it.

But the dope without hope forgot to sort out that summary page!

The only post inside was this one, which is his idea on how to try and get out of giving away the tickets he never had.

Reading tickets draw
#1675186 – Wed Oct 18 2006 03:41 PM

This has been suspended. I’ll swap it for another game and those who entered will be in by default. Apologies.
——————–

Does anyone know when the game actually sold out? Ahem…

With a brain as slow as Oldham’s it’s little wonder he’s screwed everything up for himself this summer. He tries though, I’ll give him that. And his trying gives us all a good laugh.

Does “etienne77” actually exist by the way. This poster only seems to post in order to enter competitions. Like “dsimcock” in many ways. And like “dsimcock”, gets very close to winning too.

What’s the point?
#1676291 – Thu Oct 19 2006 02:26 PM

Serious question… what’s the point of life?

As you grow older more and more people around you i.e. friends and family, one by one they drop and die and we’re left to mourn them.

You flog your guts out all through life for what? For financial gain? You can’t take it with you. To see your kids grow up?

Would it not be easier if we just all blew our heads off now to save faffing around? Why wait? What’s the point?

Is there anything to look forward to?

Poor old Lauren’s paralysed and here’s me asking what’s the point. Is it wrong to ask such questions when there’s suffering all over the world?

Now that I’ve published this, all I have to do is take the piss a little and I’ll be mentioned in the next rant from KT. Earlier on in the days when I started writing this blog I did sometimes wonder if Oldham had been pushed too far by it. He’s not bright, he’s proved that repeatedly, and he’s stubborn, again he’s proved that repeatedly. So being thick and stubborn he’ll not want to admit he was wrong and he won’t realise that it’s actually not that bad a solution. So when he made similar hints about ending it all (like he claims his Dad did) I would worry. Since then I’ve worked out a lot more about Oldham though – and he’s not going to top himself. So anyone concerned on that score don’t worry. Dunk posted this in the hope he’d get loads of sympathy. Six months ago he’d have got 40 pages of sympathy, this month he got practically none.

He got this one though, from someone across the Irish Sea who really ought to read this blog and stay away from the fat one…

Cheers mate. It’s a hard time just now. Thanks for the heads up… I seem to get these things every now and then. It’s doing my head in.
——————–

If it’s doing your head in then why don’t you sort it out? Print a huge apology and offer refunds to everyone you ripped off. Own up to Lauren that you stole from her fund. Tell your few remaining readers that you’ve used the S*n boycott to line your own pockets and that you were wrong. That’s just for starters, but at least it’s a start. Stop pretending you’ve got sick relatives when you haven’t – have you ever heard of “the boy who cried wolf”?

There was very little to see on Koptalk though to be honest. It really is quiet. I’d be disappointed to be in there if I was being paid to be in there it’s so quiet. Here’s Dunk, suffering like mad due to his sick rellie, hardly able to post as a result, and he tells us this…

Only six in
#1677023 – Fri Oct 20 2006 11:46 AM

Apparently only six first team players are at Melwood today. No sign of Stevie G but we know he’s fit.

I’ve no idea if he made this up, heard it somewhere else, or was actually stood on Chrissie Waddle’s shoulders and saw it with his own eyes. What I do know is that he failed to mention the injury to Bellamy which I first heard about on TLW on Saturday night, and also the fact Gonzo would be starting which I believe was first mentioned on YNWA on Saturday night.

If Dunk had got contacts he’d know about those two facts.

Did anyone really go to the “Sportsman’s Dinner” he spoke of? It looks like it, but I wonder if they mentioned this blog and Oldham’s love of attacking the Reds. And why didn’t Oldham go himself? Frightened of something?…

Dunk

It was a very good night. Dave Watson was not a bad speaker, but Barney was far better. It was good to meeet up with some of the other koptalkers, really nice people and hopefully forged some good friendships. Steve got the p*** taken out of him…mainly for being so young! He won a bitter umbrella and a bottle of champagne which he was’nt allowed to open and share. I won a bottle of single malt…which I also did not share 2 of the lads bought things in the auction, Roy got a signed phil thompson shirt from 1983 for £400 and James got a signed (Xabi Alonso) champions of europe print.

It was a very enjoyable night…thanks

It was a good night, cheers for sorting it out Dunk.

Shame I was full of a goddam cold so I was a tad quieter than I normally am and so drove, although it was fun watching the others getting drunker and louder.

And as funny as dave watson and alan kennedy were (the “comedian” was awful) the female everton fan who claimed they would have “won it 5 times” if not for liverpool was possibly the funniest all night.

Brilliant night – Thanks Dunk.

The shirt I got was one worn by Thommo (no idea who against), but all the ’83 team have signed it including Kenny.

I was made up it was at Goodison, as I was the only person bidding on it (despite Alan Kennedy’s attempts to get the bluenoses to up the price – tight gets!).

Great being able to put faces to some of the members – liked it when Steve collected the bottle of champagne and was asked how old he was (he did say 18 ).

Excellent night for an extremely worthy cause.

Hello all…
Great night it was capped by yorkie red telling Alan Kennedy a number of times he was his all time idol! I’m not sure if Yorkie red will remember though!
Oh yes and apparently we ‘rose’ to the everton lass even though she came to harrass us on our table. We only said 5 times to her and off she went…rather unimpressed! (My sides have just split.)

Hi guys, just got in from work so sorry for the delay in posting. Your right Rich i dont remember saying anything to Alan but i’m sure your right, i will have done.
Dunk/Steve thanks for sorting the night out it was excellent and i personally enjoyed the company of fellow Koptalkers. Thanks Pete for putting me in my taxi. When i got back to the hotel i ended up joining a group of people for some more drinks, but cant remember too much about that either.
I liked it when Roy noticed that all the Everton glory pictures that were up were actually in black & white!! says it all really.

Steve have you opened the champagne or are you going to wait until your 18?? Are you going to sort the pics out from last night too?
——————–

And on it went. They was the less boring bits.

Talking of competitions, I still had a copy of this thread from the weekend, from before that game which was played yesterday (what game?). Look at the first three replies…

liverpool win

So the infamous “dsimcock” was one of the first three – we already know he’s one of Dunk’s aliases – or at least we know Dunk’s using his ID. Too many coincidences otherwise. “dsimcock” goes “LIVERPOOL WIN”. So does “REVO”, who probably thinks he’s Dunk’s mate. He’s not.

We also get “DeeTheDog” – he’s covering the “DRAW” option. Don’t know too much about him, but let’s keep an eye on him.

Next up is Dunk’s mate, “Kop_5”. His option is “UNITED WIN”.

So that’s all the options covered. The ones who were entered didn’t all post – no response from “Clocker” or “champs_5”, two posters I’ve NEVER heard of.

So “Kop_5” one of Dunk’s mates or are you actually expecting a multi-satellite receiver? I think you’ll be disappointed either way…

Thanx AF strange day today,Liverpool lost my xbox blew up and i won the copetition, lets hope our season gets better mate.

Let’s hope you aren’t planning on selling that multi-sat system to help pay for a new xbox.

One final thing – on the front page of the Koptalk.coN “site” is this headline, aimed at getting gullible punters to part with their 30 quids (20 cash)…

LFC NEWS Reds beat United to target

So what is this then? Well it may turn out to be true, it may not, but it’s hardly come from one of Oldham’s many “sources” has it? Dear me. The barrel is being scraped.

Good news has developed this weekend.
my partners son plays for bolton. He is friends with an ex red who’s son also plays for the under 13’s at Bolton.
The intersting news is MUFC have paid a lot of money to Bring over a young guy called Mogul. He is regarded as the very best 16 year old out there. Utd thought they had it tied up and LFC found out he was a Liverpool supporter. They offered him a trial in a match for the under 18’s he was the best player on the pitch by a country mile and scored 2 goals. By all accounts he will be a 1st teamer next year.
The ex red is John Durnin to save any abiguity.
By all accounts it will be in the papers this week.

Good luck to “Butchodowd” if this does turn out to be true – pity you can’t find a decent site to post this kind of thing on so that others can help you work out if it’s duff (not Duff) information or not. Try and find an LFC site if you can.
