After Fowler and Crouch, Bellamy is next

Dunk comes out of the closet – no not that closet – just the cupboard he went hiding in almost a week ago. If you remember he posted a few bits of his usual Sunday morning crap and then disappeared. All week he’s been hiding – posting as much as normal, but not using his own login. He’s now pretending to be ST3. Steve isn’t actually allowed to post by himself, the “editor” title being 99.9% meaningless.

So what is that got Dunk to venture out of the larder?

Yesterday there was this post from Dunk-ste and it appeared on the both sections of the forum which is in two parts, even though he’s supposedly now only got one type of membership…

He was full of **** when he left Melwood today and a member of staff commented as to why ‘off the record’. I won’t say any more because what I was told could just be a Blue winding me up before the derby

I saw this first yesterday and couldn’t for the life of me work out what the “****” was blocking out. Full of shit? Full of crap? Terms usually reserved for Dunk and not really appropriate here. Any ideas? (Awaits the inevitably obvious answer from someone that I should have spotted a mile off).

Anyway, look, one of the so-called insiders on the site pipes up. From what I’ve heard Johnny H does post his insider information in good faith – i.e. he believes what he posts to be true, but there’s a doubt over whether his “source” is to be trusted.

No because we’ll get slated as usual. Dunk thinks he was winding me up. I can find out if he’s a Blue but big man said not to bother. Let’s keep things happy and concentrate on doing the enemy!!

So is there any point to this post at all?

Yes if something arises later. Nothing to see here people, move on.

So to sum up… Steve heard something off someone at Melwood. Probably one of the other LFC fans hanging around the entrance. Trouble is Dunk’s so paranoid that he really didn’t know what to do about it. So he posts it (still using ST3’s name) but dismisses it as complete nonsense. He can’t resist posting it, the old woman that he is, but he really doesn’t believe it. If he did you can bet it would have been on the front page of his tattered old free site immediately.

Anyway, that was the last we heard about it until today.

Today fatty was stuck in the Wallsend shed with Steve, munching pies, with Katie stood watching the front of the house for any DWP cars that might appear. I expect that somewhere on Sky TV the team for today’s game was announced – probably SSN on one of the tickers at the bottom of the screen. No Bellamy. And it was common knowledge by 12.30 if not earlier that Bellamy had not even travelled with the squad. (Well it is a long journey). It’s not a doubt at all that Dunk heard this on the TV at around 12.00 and so posted this (again dressed as Steve) shortly after.

Now, instead of saying he was holding back on the details of the story because he thought it was just a wind-up, Dunk was keeping the news back for the good of LFC.

Seriously – that’s what he says. Oh yes, now the kid he was chatting to outside the gates is “our source”…

What I was told about Bellamy
#1637474 – Sat Sep 09 2006 12:12 PM

Ok he wasn’t winding me up then! I didn’t want to post it yesterday incase it wasn’t true and because it’s a huge game. The reason I made the brief post yesterday about him was just incase something did come up today so you’d know I wasn’t winding you up.
Anyway one of the guys at Melwood said Bellamy had allegedly kicked off in the changing rooms after the morning training session. I was told he’d been left out of the squad but we thought that it was just Bluenose propaganda.

Bellamy was “furious” said our source. As I said yesterday when he left Melwood he was full of ****. He certainly wasn’t going to stop when he drove off where as nearly all the other players did.

I didn’t want to post this yesterday as it could have distracted our preparations. I hope you appreciate that.

*** Further: I need to add a correction/clarification. The source said because of something that allegedly happened in the changing rooms, that was why he would not figure today. He didn’t allegedly kick off because he wasn’t going to figure today. In other words, the source claimed he was dropped today because of an alleged incident. There were no signs of any problems during training when they were all together as a group.

Love the way he’s edited that post 45 minutes after first posting it. I’m guessing that he’s heard a bit more about the story now from another site, or even that it’s been mentioned on the TV coverage.

I’ve no idea why, but as well as editing the original post he adds it again as a new post further down that thread. (I need one of those shrugging smilies here).

So now the moment you’ve all been waiting for. What could it be that could bring the fat loser out of his hiding place? Well it won’t be food, as his family will be under orders to keep that sort of thing coming his way. No – you should know already. It’s one of his favourite things.

Attacking a Liverpool striker.

He tried hard during Robbie Fowler’s original Anfield career to get the well-loved lad from Toxteth kicked out of the club in shame. It’s been mentioned on here numerous times how Robbie was the victim of an incessant smear campaign by Duncan Oldham. To put it simply, he accused Robbie Fowler of being a drunk and unfit to even train for the Reds due to being under the influence of alcohol. It was all lies, and all dressed up as though it was true and coming from his contacts. If you’re new to this blog, maybe you hadn’t realised until then just what scum he is.

Earlier in the summer he tried to smear Peter Crouch. How would it look to Liverpool fans if Peter Crouch had defied all the advice, gone behind the backs of the club, and whilst on England duty had gone to the journalists for the Sun and granted them an exclusive? Crouch is popular amongst most Liverpool supporters, his knockers are disappearing by the day, but Oldham is someone who hates Crouch. Why? I’ve no idea, except that maybe Dunk wishes he was tall and thin. In the summer he said that Crouch had given an exclusive to The Sun, and that he had the tapes to prove it. Worse still, he threatened he would wait until the moment was right to use the tapes, so he could end Crouch’s career. Bullshit from start to finish, but would any real Liverpool fan say such things? How would Crouch feel if he read that? Then again Crouch might well say, “Duncan who?” or “Kop what?” – he certainly would now.

And now we find ourselves listening to half a story from Dunk-ste, changing all the time as he makes the scarce evidence fit the story he wants to invent. His new striker victim – Craig Bellamy.

Here, for the first time in six days, is an appearance from Duncan Oldham herself. This appeared on the so-called “free” site – he didn’t want to restrict his slur on a Liverpool player just to his members…

COMMENT: ‘Bad Boy’ Bellamy left out as Reds stuffed at Goodison

The decision by Rafa Benitez to leave Craig Bellamy out of the squad may have come as a surprise to you today but as alluded to our members yesterday, something just didn’t seem right at Melwood yesterday.

We were told at Melwood yesterday by a member of the staff at the training complex about an alleged incident after the morning session. “Bellamy lost it in the changing rooms,” claimed the source and according to them, he hadn’t kicked off because he was to play no part in the derby, he was to play no part in the derby because of him kicking off. If he did, or what about, we don’t know (yet).

When Steve told me this yesterday I told him to keep it to himself and not to say much on the eve of a huge game against the enemy. I told him that it sounded like propaganda because of the derby and that the source was probably a Bluenose.

We even spoke about it on the podcast but until today, I was dismissive of the suggestions. Whether you choose to read into things any further or whether you actually believe something has gone off is up to you. Personally I expect to see Bellamy back in the squad for next week’s PSV game. I’m sure his absence will be played down although Rafa avoided questions about his omission before the match.

Losing to Everton today was hard to take. I thought the boss might start with Robbie Fowler as he was fresh and I guess Crouch was the in-form striker. I would have liked to have seen Bellamy involved though so I guess that adds to the frustration.

It certainly didn’t look like the Liverpool we know out there today. Bellamy may have been absent but many big names were AWOL today.

Ah well. It’s Saturday and I feel the need to go and drown my sorrows.

KOPTALK COMMENT

I’ll leave you to comment on this, in case I’m off the mark in some way, but to my way of thinking there’s no way any genuine supporter of LFC would be going for this particular hat-trick of negative stories about Liverpool players.

Even if the stuff from Melwood turned out to be true, why cause unrest for the team?

I’m just glad it appeared on a site that gets so few visitors a day, and am now wondering whether I’ve done the right thing by increasing the exposure to the story by so much. And for anyone still thinking it was worth shelling out thirty quid think about this for a moment – this is the closest Koptalk readers have got to exclusive insider information this year. And it came from outside Melwood, not inside, and from a passer by, not a source.

And one more thing – I wonder, is Dunk still bitter about the way Bellamy left Dunk’s other team, Newcastle? Is this payback?

EXCLUSIVE info for DME’s Gold Blog:

Someone passing by Butros Butros Gali’s office informed us that something happened today. We are not sure who was involved and we are not allowed to say what happened (yet) but something has happened earlier today and there was at least one other person involved. When it all comes out in the media I will refer you back to this post, but remember when you read it in the Sun, you heard it on the Gold Blog first.

  4. Insider Insider Says:

Just as an update on the Bellamy situation – according to http://forum.liverpoolway.co.uk/showthread.php?t=37081 (TLW) there was no bust-up. Nothing of the sort.

  5. rupertinsider Says:

And this is what Chris Bascombe said in his report from Holland:

“Neither player (Bellamy or Kuyt) started at Goodison on Saturday, and Rafa Benitez was forced to shrug off ridiculous rumours of a bust-up with Bellamy following the Welshman’s absence from the squad.”

I wonder how much hurt there has been and energy wasted over the years and damage done to player’s confidence and squad morale by Oldham’s moneygrubbing lies. And now his bozo editor, Steve, is carrying on the tradition because “the boss told me”.
