Cowardly Koptalk attack Liverpool Echo

Dunk is still too scared to post using his own name.  For some reason he thinks that nobody can tell. We can tell though Oldham, so whatever your reason is, you might as well stop now. Very few people in life are as thick as you. Well done on ripping people off for so many years and getting away with it, but those days have past.

So, logged on as “ST3” again, Oldham treats us to this piece of comedy. Or at least it would be comedy, if it wasn’t for the fact that the fat liar is using his bullshit in what will be a failed attempt to get back at Chris Bascombe, someone who gets INSIDE Melwood quite a bit…

“John Arne Riise, Jamie Carragher, Momo Sissoko and Stephen Warnock have spent most of the time in rehabilitation,” – Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo

Momo and Warnock have been training since last week (see our previous updates). Their involvement varied but they’re not as behind as some people would think from reading this statement in the local media.

The owners of the property in West Derby (Melwood) are letting us use the property we’re buying when we need to as it’s a vacant possession. As a result, when the international players return we’ll see if we can obtain some inside news for you ahead of the derby.
– – – – – – – – – –

I can’t even be bothered to comment on his West Derby vacant possession bullshit. Someone else please do so though, because I laugh so much my arms go floppy and I can’t type.

Ok. I’ve composed myself now.

So, Dunk spotted the players over the fence on his stalker week and now he thinks he knows more about the players than Chris B.
It’s bullshit, an attack on the Liverpool Echo and an attack on Chris Bascombe. It’s from a fat bitter thief who is pissed off at losing his chance to make money at the expense of Liverpool FC.

It’s also cowardice from that obese conman. He hasn’t got the balls to stand up and say it himself, he prefers to let his teenage friend take the trouble that might come his way.

Oldham – you are pathetic. You lost your site, and all you had to do was admit you’d been lying.

The empty house thing. Get off! Utter bollocks! Hilarious!

So silver tongued dunk has persuaded the current owners (Chris Waddle?) to let him move into their house before all the financial transactions and contracts have been finally ratified. That’s quite a trick dunc and absolutely unique in the history of property transactions…..

  2. Alfonso Says:

Is Dunk supposed to be getting a house overlooking Melwood?

Its funny that he has never mentioned it!

Or even took a photo of it for that matter. He seemed to have snapped everything else barring himself or the house on his trip to Liverpool.

  3. Another KT Mug Says:

What does he think rehabilitation is? It is the process of getting back to full fitness so of course it would involve running.

He must be thinking of Rehab and that they are supposed to be locked away in some clinic. Talk about grasping at straws FFS.

  4. rupertinsider Says:

This is the kind of bullshit we could expect if he ever did get near Melwood. He would decide when someone looks good, or bad, when their bones or ligaments or bruises are healing and when they are match fit – simply by catching a glimpse of them jogging through a hole in the fence or passing in a car.

It really wouldn’t matter to him if he was right or wrong – he would still generate controversy, create attention for his site and give the impression that he had “inside” information. That’s what he has been doing for years. Now the club had exposed as a sham hie claim to have contact with seniro officials and access to the club, he will simply set himself p in oppsootion to the club and accredited journalists.

You have to wonder who would pay for this shit and why anyone would need to second-guess the club’s statements about the conditon of palyers at any given time.
Whatever they look like through the eyes of a wheezing fat man – they won’t play until the club doctor and Rafa says they can play.

  5. rupertinsider Says:

It could be that he’s located a building near Melwood or in West Derby – talks about or even puts in a conditional offer – conditional on him having the money to buy it, or on a mortgage being granted, or on his site still being around, or on him not changing his mind – and then on the basis of that wishful thinking gaining limited – maybe even paying a few quid every time he camped there last week. He calls it a “property” not a hosue – so it might be another Portakabin.

  6. AH Says:

    Hello,
Not trying to get slated but i think to be fair considering that the official Liverpool site has said that sissoko is available to play this week…. as this Duncan dude has said… it does see, that he’s telling the truth on this one.. if you go to the official site you’ll see that Sissoko’s available…

I Think this Bascombe guy is wrong on some of what he said..

Not trying to rock the boat mind

    All the best

  7. rupertinsider Says:

The Official Site and the Echo has said for days that Momo is making good progress and may be ready for the Derby but that Carra and Riise are not as advanced in their rehabilitation. They both say it is a question of seeing how the injuries respond to rehabilitation. Oldham simply re-words what is public knowledge reported by others before him.

But he inever acknowledges the work of others – he just steals it. In this example, he not only does not acknowledge the media for their accurate and timely information, he implies the media have been misleading. He does this for two purposes – to try to insinuate that he his report is original and derived from direct knowledge because he looked over the wall at Melwood and saw Momo trotting with a trianer – and becuase he is jealous of Bascombe and his good reputation. And that might have something to do with the fact that Chris publicly nailed Oldham’s outragous lies about Fowler in 2001.

  8. AH Says:

    ok.. I’m interested in something…

What are the lies that Oldham said about Robbie Fowler.,… I’be heard reference to them but not know of what they are??

Also how did Bascombe expose the lies?

With regards the acknowledgement…. i resepect what your saying about him not giving acknowledgement to others… in this case other parts of the media.. but to be fair once again… all the media take stories from other sources and use them,,,, I can categorically tell you that if the Star had a news story about a player.. and then the Mirror found out via an early edition.. then they wouldn’t reference the Star as a source would they.. They would just report the news as if its their own,,, Its standard journalistic practice surely…

Have you ever seen the Sun reference the Mirror as a source ??

    Anyway All the best !!

Thanks for that. Let’s look again at what’s been said where.

LFC’s official site, on this page, has this quote from Rafa…

“Momo is fit and has been training normally at Melwood,” said the Liverpool boss.

“It’s more difficult to tell with John or Carra and we won’t know until Thursday if they have a chance.”

And Chris Bascombe, on this page (and in the paper too if you can get hold of a copy), says this…

“Mark Gonzalez and Bolo Zenden have also been training as normal, but John Arne Riise, Jamie Carragher, Momo Sissoko and Stephen Warnock have spent most of the time in rehabilitation.

The rest of the squad doesn’t return until tomorrow afternoon.

Riise and Carragher will know over the next 24 hours if they still have a chance of playing at the weekend.

Benitez will want the duo to join a full training session before considering them for the fixture.”

Fatty (pretending to be Steve) says…

Momo and Warnock have been training since last week (see our previous updates). Their involvement varied but they’re not as behind as some people would think from reading this statement in the local media.

Dunk chose to try and rip apart the article from the Echo. No idea why he’s chosen to do this, unless maybe he thinks I’m Chris Bascombe.

Rafa doesn’t mention Warnock, so let’s leave him out of this. Also I don’t know when these words were spoken by Rafa. If anyone knows let me know.

Rafa says that Sissoko “is fit”, and “has been training normally”. Is that enough to “clear” Dunk and make his article correct? No.

Rafa doesn’t say Sissoko has “been training normally” all week, or for the past four days, or two out of the past three days, or just today. He just says that he has trained normally.

I’m guessing a bit here, but I expect that if Rafa saw Sissoko train properly even just once without any reactions he’d be pretty happy to declare the player as “fit”.

Another guess here, but I bet it’s pretty accurate. Rafa is not going to pass a message to Everton via the media that Sissoko is pretty much ok but we could do with him not getting kicked anywhere near his injury is he? He’s not going to say, “Sissoko only got to train for the first time today and seems ok, but he looked pretty worn out” is he?

Bascombe says that Momo (along with Carra and JAR) has “spent most of the time in rehabilitation”. Not ALL of the time. The article is written in a way that covers what’s been happening with players since the last Liverpool game. If Momo’s time since the last game has been spent “in rehabilitation” every day until Monday then I’d say that qualifies as “most of the time”.

Bascombe mentions that Carra and Riise need to put a full training session in before being considered OK for the derby. He doesn’t mention Sissoko in that bit, suggesting (to me at least) that Momo doesn’t need to put a full training session in to be considered.

Dunk has absolutely no clue what “rehabilitation” means. Not a clue. Training includes “rehabilitation”, if a player needs it. And depending on the what the injury is, and how bad it is, “rehabilitation” will vary.

Dunk got it wrong today simply because he doesn’t understand what the term means. His bitterness and jealousy towards Bascombe is the only reason he wrote the piece, and he thought he’d got one over on him because he’d assumed the players he’d seen on his spying mission were in full training.

He knows more about property buying than he does about training methods at Melwood. And that’s saying something, when you see what he knows about buying property…

The owners of the property in West Derby (Melwood) are letting us use the property we’re buying when we need to as it’s a vacant possession. As a result, when the international players return we’ll see if we can obtain some inside news for you ahead of the derby.

Oldham is not a journalist, and his site is not a journal. Dont be fooled by his calling himself “Executive Editor” and his 17 year old step-brother “Editor”. He is not accredited as press by LFC or anybody.

If KT was a journal he would undoubtedly model it on the S** and the NoW. But most editors/journalists wouldn’t and the Liverpool Echo doesn’t. The reason the Echo and Bascombe have good reputations is that they do their work honestly and have generous access to LFC.

There are several extensive articles about Oldham stalking Fowler – I wrote a three part article. I also wrote an article about Bascombe that details his accusation against Oldham. The article inlcudes references to an interview I had with Chris.

I suggest you use the search feature.

For the details of the Chris Bascombe allegation that Oldham lied about Fowler, look up the Article:

“Koptalk? I thought that had been clsoed down yeas ago” – Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo

(For those who missed my earlier note, I have edited the original article to include the text of the Bascombe article from the Liverpool Echo dated October 2001 in which he details the Oldham lie. He sent me the text a few weeks ago.)

  14. rupertinsider Says:

The Bascombe article was on 11th August. This is the extract I referred to:
    ________________________________________________________
That all changed when Chris Bascombe wrote an article in the Pink Edition of the Football Echo in October 2001 dismissing KopTalk and its outrageous lie about Fowler.

” Robbie only has to breathe these days and someone, somewhere is writing about him. This week when Robbie wasn’t even playing we saw another example of how, more than any other player, he is the target of rumour.

I was sent an article in by a reader which appeared on an unofficial website, which I won’t name because it doesn’t deserve the free ad it probably wants (ok I will. Apparently it’s called Koptalk or Kopchat or something like that). They wrote an outrageous lie which dared to suggest that Robbie’s absence on Tuesday wasn’t because he was ill.

As Robbie explained, “I woke up on Tuesday and felt really lousy and light-headed. I was about to come into training in the afternoon and I called the doc. The doctor came around to my house examined me and told me to go back to bed.”

The story that Bascombe alluded to was a report by Oldham that Fowler had missed training because of a hangover. In fact, it turneddout that he had a very serious chest infection.

Oldham was furious, not so much because a respected journalist had called him a liar, but because he had been vague about the name of the site and the “look what the cat borught in” tone of his references to it.Oldham responded by establishing the domain “kopchat.com” to benefit from any enquiries that the Bascombe reference generated. He also responded on Koptalk several times. He claimed that Bascombe had been deliberately vague in order to deny him publicity. He proceeded to insult him in other ways that should be familiar to those of you who read my frequent updates of the long list of names Oldham calls those who disagree with him.

From that time on, Oldham pretended he did not know Bascombe’s name or who he was – and even today – five years later – when he steals Bascombe’s stories from the online version of the Liverpool Echo and Daily Post, he does not acknowledge the source or the author. Instead he claims that it is from his own exclusive sources “as confirmed by the local media”.

  16. AH Says:

    Hello!!

I’m just thinking.. this article was written in.. 2001 thats like.. 5 Years ago.. a long time.. Hasn’t evetyone moved on..

I did see a clip on that Koptalk website when he was at melwood at he went to Robbie Fowler about saying hello to Koptalk.. blah blah blah.. Not sure if you saw it??

But I mean… ok robbie didn’t say “Yeah I support Koptalk… ” he was dismissive,.. “keep the faith” was what he said.. BUT he was smiling when he said it.. .. no animosity… lifes moved on for him.. he’s made money via his career and houses.// he doesn’t seem to care about an owner of an LFC fanzine.. if he did he surely would have got out the car .. or hurled abuse.. or not said anything !!

Also.. This Bascombe guy.. I think someone from here reported Koptalk and his reply was along the lines of “I thought he was shut down.. ” something like that… if Oldham was on his mind then surely he’d be ranting and raving ?? Or at least have knowledge on the site .. he’s moved on as well i reckon ..

Has bascombe said anything recently about Koptalk??

  17. rupertinsider Says:

The blog is about a pattern of his behaviour, attitudes and values related to LFC that have persisted for about seven years and continue into the present.

If you don’t think that is important enough for your consideration move on, as Oldham would say, there’s nothing to see here.

And yes, Bascombe and thousands of others take an active interest in the Blog.

Perhaps it is you who is missing the point?

  18. AH Says:

    Hey,

When you say active interest in the blog what does that mean… can you be specific..

No disrespect intended when I say this.. but I mean “an active interest in the Blog” is the type of thing you’d see in one of the News stories on Koptalk!! very ambiguous.. has many meanings.. not actually being specific which is what Oldham seems to be doing..

  19. AH Says:

I am starting to get a better understanding of why your all here.. exposing his practices are making sense… but with all the wars and people dying.. injustices in the world,.. murders.. rapes.. killings… If i’m really honest .. in the scheme of the world and everything in it.. really and truely the amount of time spent discussing the day to day activities of a 2 bit hustler from West yorkshire or Newcastle or Sunderland or whatever .. the amount of effort spent attacking this guy.. it’s a bit sad really isn’t it ??

    Its a bit sad Isn’t it ??

Or have I missed the point here… the point that life really really is very short.. we don’t have much time here…

You or I or Duncan Oldham could be dead tomorrow.. obviously thats not the wish but it could happen… then where has all this got you guys…. other than waste time doing things that better your lives….

  20. AH Says:

    AND one more thing !!!

NO I am not any relation to this guy,.. never met him.. never intend to meet him…

But as i said.. some of the stuff here is really facinating.. real live drama.. couldn’t make any of it up..

You have achieved some successes because from what you’ve said he’s lost subscribers… and he’s changed the style of the site it looks like… it seems that he’ll be producing more unique content ala sky or the bbc… So the cricisim has hurt him in some ways and helped in others…

  21. rupertinsider Says:

I have been specific, but I really don’t have time to go back and find information for you everytime you think of a question. I have already given you links to the Bascombe article and the reference to his active interest. And you can tell from even a glance at that article that I have spoken to him and I have followed it up with other references.

As for all the big problems in the world – if they are more important to you than KT and Oldham then try to find blogs about them – there are 300,000 on WordPress alone – so you don’t have to get stuck with us.

In fact why not start a blog about something that interests you and come back and give us a link.

  22. SteveO Says:

As for the problems in the world, there will always be some bigger then others. However, you can use that to excuse all sorts of crimes. Think of a crime then think or a worse one, does the fact that the second one goes on excuse the other?

  23. AH Says:

    @rupertInsider

    Hold on one minute…,

You telling me to go away because I don’t agree with what you say.. thats similar to one of the things that this oldham does when he bans people for talking against him and his site??

I know I’ve said a few things that you people may not like or agree with .. but come !!

  24. AH Says:

    @steve o

Your right with that point about crimes.. everything comes down to context…

I’m just miffed at how the “crimes” that this guy has commited constitute this level of critcism and hatred when their are other things going on around us that go on unopposed..

  25. rupertinsider Says:

You seem to have spent several hours writing on this blog today telling us not to spend so much time on it (I don’t know how much additional time you have spent reading it).

This is not my site, I did not see you talking against me ………….so everything else you said in that lost comment is a non-sequitur.

  26. Fred Says:

AH – we’re passionate about our football club (as I’m sure you are), we don’t like seeing fellow reds being ripped off by a service which promises much, but delivers nothing. There are many other reasons why this blog exists, but in my personal opinion I’m just glad this blog allows open honest discussion – which Dunk won’t allow on KopTalk.

In the scheme of things most of the daily trivialities we involve ourselves with are insignificant, but I honestly believe that ridding Liverpool FC and its supporters of this parasite is worthy of our attention.

  27. Insider Insider Says:

What does AH stand for? Reading the stuff above you give me a great idea of what it could stand for.

Nobody’s telling you to go away, just giving you some ideas. I thought Rupert’s was a good idea. You don’t think the subject matter of this blog is as important as other subjects we could be blogging about. So Rupert said why not look for a blog that is important enough for you. The other option was to start your own blog – then let us know what it’s called. If you start a blog and let me know I promise to give it a plug on here.

Quick link for you – http://www.wordpress.com. You can go there and set up a blog like this in minutes, seconds even.

I’m actually looking forward to it now. What will you write it on though?

There are some really shitty things going on in the world, and I find time to read about those too. I also find time to write about them, although not very often, and not in this guise. Unfortunately I’m far less knowledgeable about those things.

If we all devoted all our free time and spare money only to the most important of world issues, then there’d be no LFC fans for Duncan Oldham to rip off – because there’d be no LFC. Nobody would spend a penny on trivial things like football when there are children dying in the world. Nobody would do anything just for fun. And just when you thought you’d made a lot of important sacrifices you’d find you’d actually made them for something that wasn’t the most important thing after all.

So stay if you want to, but don’t expect answers to every question if you flood us with them. Have a good read of the blog, and then come back with some questions. In fact, why not email a list of your 20 most burning questions? I’ll make sure that we try to answer them in some way or other for you.

  28. AH Says:

    @insider insider

    Dude…

Hey one of the things that I do like about this blog is that it opens up things for a debate…. your not trying to censor me.. which is cool.. your hearing what I have to say and.. even though we may not agree on certain things,,.. we’re still conversing .. and everything is friendly .. which i think is another good thing .. and noones getting hurt,,, so its cool,…

If its ok I will stay around.. i really do enjoy reading the blog… its a distraction from other stuff going on.. a sense of escapism ..

But.. I do ask questions because I reckon their important… I’m not sure what you meant when you said .. stay if i want but don’t expect an answer to every question.. i’m a bit confused… because obviously this blog asks alot of questions that it would like answering…

I think Rupert’s idea is a good one as well… just that it does kinda sound like something oldham would say .. “You don’t like it f off!!” He comes out with that tripe all the time.. But I’ll have a think about a blog site,,,, something of interest.. maybe lfc related…

Hey!! have you guys considered doing an anti Koptalk podcast?? That would be fun and would get alot of potential listeners… AND… you could go up against the Koptalk one.. then .. with itunes showing more for this than the other PODcast that would be a great result?? any thoughts ??

  29. Insider Insider Says:

AH – when I say don’t expect answers to every question, what I mean is that if you throw us a load of quickfire questions in short random bursts we’ll probably not get round to answering them. Especially if it’s going over old ground. I think it’s just worth you having a lot more of a good look around the site before asking too many questions, because they may already be answered.

Funny you should mention our own podcast –

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/Koptalk

is available, and if we get any more clips from visitors we’ll add them to it.

Anyone with iTunes should subscribe to that feed to see if they can get it to the top of the iTunes charts.

  30. txtoto Says:

AH are you a fan of lfc??

If you were you would know this guy is clearly ripping people off, for may including myself koptalk was the site i spent most of my time on when on the internet untill i discovered this blog. Many lfc fans are passionate, we all like to spend time with things we like best and its not a question of loosing time or money but just a question of a passion for lfc. The fat cunt is robbing lfc fans around the world that alone is a justification for spending time on this blog to help stop fellow lfc fans being ripped off by dunk.
