More attacks on Parry from Duncan Oldham

When Dunk makes stuff up he likes to make sure it’s heard. Last night / early hours of this morning, clearly trouble by the latest high-profile departures from his rapidly dwindling user-base, he decided it was time to pretend he had friends on the Anfield board.

Sorry about your pet Dunk, and I await your latest offering once the head settles down, but I wonder what you think of the other rumours circulating that the problem signing Kuyt is not to do with the Chairman but more to do with Mr Parry. I realise there has always been a camp inclined to “blame Parry because he is an accountant”, and I am not a big fan of accountants myself (they are the only known organism that can survive in a vacuum), but I wonder if your inside knowledge might dispell the idea or shed some light on the rumours?

People blame Moores, people blame Parry. It depends who you listen to. Parry can only do what Moores provides him with but on the other hand Parry is the man who is supposed to deliver the money to Moores by finding investment. Parry was expected to do a lot when he came from the Premier League, I don’t think he has.

There is at least one board member who favours a change. While he has a great deal of respect for Moores and Parry, he thinks the club has been foolish with the likes of Morgane etc.

Truth be told they’re all responsible somewhere. Good intent is great but what do fans want? Do they want the odd trophy here and there or do they want more?

Any take-over is a gamble and losing someone like Moores does worry me in one way because he is after all one of us whatever people say.

It’s a shame we have to look for blame. I think it would be best if they all got round a table i.e. Morgan, Moores, Jefferies, Parry and the rest of the board. If they’re all fans, then work together for the benefit of the club. Make personal sacrifices and forget rivalries.
Post Extras:
Note how he says Moores is “one of us”. Duncan is not one of “us”, as in the supporters of Liverpool football club who, to varying degrees, put that club before many other things in life. I’m not one to criticise anyone for the number of games they attend, how many shirts they buy, etc. If you do something that helps the club then that’s to be applauded, but not expected. If you do something that hinders the club, or is an attempt to cause problems for the club, then that is to be condemned.  Duncan’s constant theft from the club and personal attacks on members of the club is also to be condemned. Dunk, despite what he’d like us to think, is never going to be “one of us”. Never.

He hints at having a member of the board communicating with him. He hasn’t of course. Not even Steve “Morgane”.

I forget which way round it was, but the above post was on either the Gold Club or the Insider Club. His spontaneous reply to a question from a user in the “Aggressive take-over attempt ditched – transfer stuff so” thread. Or was it spontaneous? Funnily enough, he came up with the exact same response in another thread. Including the typo of “Morgane”.

I love this comment from the non-fan –

“If they’re all fans, then work together for the benefit of the club. Make personal sacrifices and forget rivalries.”

Why not practice what you preach then Mr Oldham? Forget rivalries? You hate every other LFC website. Especially any that might point out the slight problems with your pay-site. Or who might allow discussion of your old days of wife-swapping and sky-card pirating. Or worst of all, your love of The S*n newspaper.

In fact, someone suggested the idea of putting more links onto Koptalk. One of his wonderful sections on the rapidly shrinking Gold Club is a links section. This week the number of sites he linked to was trebled. To three. One football site, two sites for sharing videos.

Just a suggestion…

How about expanding the Links forum? There are so many great LFC sites out there and other sites which would appeal to our community – it seems a real shame there are just 3 currently listed (YouTube, Soccerbase and Metacafe).

Some people (like me) are a bit lazy and can’t be bothered searching for interesting stuff, so how about it? I agree that Soccerbase is tremendous for finding footy-related facts. How come LFC.tv isn’t listed for example?

Seriously though, I’m sure there are more than three good links to post. Lfc.tv is easy to find in a search engine but there must be other ‘gems’ that people could share.

Haha – you’re right. That’s one of the things I like about KopTalk – it brings everything together in one convenient place. Which is great for lazy gits like me. The Links forum is a bit rubbish though.

Well I only suggested the official site because it’s such a blatant omission, but to be honest links to less obvious sites would probably be more worthwhile.

We’ll be expanding the links forum over the next week. If you look you’ll see that it was moved earlier today. We’ll be filling it with helpful info etc. We won’t though be linking to other LFC sites apart from the offal…. even though my own personal favourite is the L Files
So there you have it. Someone makes a suggestion, but the suggestion is knocked back. Without any reason being given. What a great community this is. Dunk’s frightened to death that his rivals’ sites will be so much better than his that he’ll lose even more customers. Then again, he’s not a fan. Not really.

It was a lack of any ability to listen to constructive criticism and to consider suggestions from members that saw the departure (through Dunk’s ban) of Tom. With him went many more members. Last night two more went from Dunk’s empire, reasons not stated too clearly but it doesn’t take a lot to see that Dunk himself could have prevented them from leaving by just listening a little more closely to what people say, instead of assuming he was always right.

You asked what Dunk’s response was last night, so here it is –

Re: Time to leave  [Re: Red_Al_77]

Al’s a great lad and he’s always been very helpful and supportive. He’s one of the few people that I’d class as a mate.

Sadly a few loons spoil it for people like Al and when some of you laugh at the internet stuff that goes on, just remember that while it may funny to you, there’s people with families behind the usernames.

Thankfully the majority of people here are superb, the minority of idiots we’ve been getting rid of and we’ll continue doing so no matter how many people it upsets and no matter how popular they are.

The communities here will not tolerate idiots. As I said to Al, look after number one, it’s what I do every day of the week. Family first.

Go easy Al

Dunk either fails to see the point, refuses to see the point, or hopes he can stop others from seeing the point. Red Al, whatever his reasons for leaving, has not gone because of the issue over the streaming information. There’s more to it than that. If that was all that concerned him, he’d have resigned as moderator and stayed on as a poster. He says the site is not fun any more. He’s been talking on www.est1892.co.uk quite happily though since, a sign that he’s found somewhere he can have that fun.

I’ve no idea what Al meant by the phone call in his departure note. It seems to have been significant. I think time may well tell us what the phone call was, but let’s leave it for now. Al will tell us about it one day if he feels he should, I’m sure of that.

As for Duncan, well consider how many other families you’ve had a negative impact on one way or another with your numerous scams. Think how you’d feel if that was your family. Not that you think as much of your family as you’d like your visitors to believe.

there’s a thread about this blog on the goldclub which has been going for almost 12 minutes now

Feel sorry for the “TheElephantMan”. If he only knew about this blog, then he would know. Wasn’t this guy the one who collated all the feedbacks and dunk got all excited?

  3. rupertinsider Says:

He ignored the fact that Robbie Fowler had a young family and siblings when he stalked him and hounded him for well over a year in order to drive up hits on KT and drum up business for the Blue Bar – where Oldham was paid for hsi dirty work with free drinks.

And he didn’t seem to care about Steve McMannaman and his dying mother when he stalked and hounded him and lied about his case.

There’s a whole long list of LFC players, directors, officials and employees whose privacy and good name Oldham has abused in order to make money.

  4. Tom Says:

I’m sure Al won’t mind me saying this but he was flabbergasted by how Dunk managed to spin his resignation post.

  5. rupertinsider Says:

Tom: Which was one of my main reasons for asking Tom to clarify. I knew that if Tom left a vaccum that Oldham would fill it. He would define it to suit his own purposes. Tom was being decent to Oldham in view of their long association through KT. Oldham uses every situation to benefit himself (as he seems to admit in his response).

Re: Oldham v Fowler and Macca
I’ve expounded on it here. If you look at the Comments Page at the front – I made reference to it in one of my earliest posts, and then as people showed an interest, I elaborated in later posts on that page and on other pages. My posts were mainly about Oldham’s stalking and attacks on Fowler with snide attacks on his marriage and sister, but I do mention Macca as being caught in the crossfire. I did not elaborate on Macca because of the sensitivities involved re his mother.

    will check it out insider.
