The owner of Koptalk seems to have no intention of stopping the lies. Here’s a statement he released on why the Lauren website was redirected to the Scope site.

People associated to a rival LFC website have been spamming KOPTALK readers of late. As part of their attempts to disrupt things here, they have also been targeting people associated to the editor including Lauren, his 18-year-old disabled cousin.
So revolting are some of the emails about Lauren who is currently in hospital, that the family have decided to move Lauren’s website to a new domain which is known by her friends and supporters in her home town.
It is a shame that so called Liverpool supporters are at the centre of the attacks on Lauren.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported Lauren and her family since she was paralysed in 2004.
It is a sad state of affairs when KopTalk can promote other good causes but not that of a Liverpool fan directly related to those behind the site, who’s own sister used to write a column for us (Red Alert).
Lauren’s life and happiness is far more important than the scum who have opted to include her in their agendas to simply try and rival us.
We hope they’re very proud of themselves.
He’s now said “People associated to a rival website” as perhaps a response to our statement that the things he’s seemingly accusing us of are untrue. Does “associated” mean readers of that site? If so then they are probably associated to Koptalk too. We’ve not “spammed” anyone, other than one or two members of his “free” site some time back, details of which we posted on here. Another annoyed and frustrated former visitor to Koptalk felt outraged enough to get hold of some email addresses (freely available) and then get in touch with the owners of those email addresses.
So much to say and that’s only the first sentence. So onto the next sentence – “As part of their attempts to disrupt things here, they have also been targeting people associated to the editor including Lauren, his 18-year-old disabled cousin.” We’ve targetted Duncan Oldham, his step-brother (?) Steve MacNeish and his mother Jeanette Oldham. All of whom have their email addresses published as contacts for the Koptalk site. We mentioned Andrew MacNeish recently, we believe he is the step-father of Duncan Oldham and he was mentioned in relation to his advertisement on Koptalk for a pyramid-selling scheme. We also tried to contact someone called Chloe, who we actually believe doesn’t exist. However her name and email is given as a support contact for Koptalk. A previous name and email given out for support on Koptalk was Maria – Dunk’s wife. Her email address now bounces. That’s the full extent of who we’ve contacted at Koptalk, other than generic addresses such as “firstname.lastname@example.orgN”. Despite accusutions in the past (which would be libellous, not slanderous Mr Oldham) about us emailing his daughter we never have – and he knows this. The liar. We’ve held back from saying what we really think of Dunk’s treatment of his 18-year-old cousin. We don’t need to go over what we’ve said because everything we’ve said about Lauren is on this blog. Search for ‘Lauren’ to see what we’ve said.
The next bit needs addressing too – “So revolting are some of the emails about Lauren who is currently in hospital, that the family have decided to move Lauren’s website to a new domain which is known by her friends and supporters in her home town.” You’ve certainly received no revolting emails about Lauren from us Mr Oldham. Perhaps you’d like to produce the headers for us? Maybe you’ve outraged others enough to send you revolting emails, but we are far more in control of our anger than to allow ourselves to do that. In fact we do feel a lot of sympathy for Lauren. It’s a heartbreaking condition she’s been suddenly struck with, and from what we’ve seen of her away from your propaganda she’s coping with it extremely well. What she’s not coping with is your decision to use her as a vehicle to make more money for yourself. I doubt there even is a new website – in fact I believe her close family have told you to remove her website because it’s only there for your needs, not hers. She’s got a lot of dignity and her close family clearly care for her deeply. We’re delighted she’s been able to get a car under the government’s mobility scheme, and the freedom this will bring her means she’s less reliant on parasites in her family who see her as a means to make more money. Why was the website asking for money to be sent to your address and for cheques to be written out to your mum? Why not Lauren’s mum or dad or Lauren herself? You won’t answer that will you? We also doubt there is another website – you rarely posted at all on the existing one – it even carried links to our blog for a month or more.
Next is this from Oldham: “It is a shame that so called Liverpool supporters are at the centre of the attacks on Lauren.” Very thinly-veiled, this is nothing more than an attempt to discredit this blog. We’ve asked how a Liverpool supporter could be so supportive of The Sun. He’s a disgrace to the name of Liverpool FC, as is his site.
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported Lauren and her family since she was paralysed in 2004.” It’s this support that has outraged many of our readers. They’ve explained in comments on here that Duncan was pleading poverty and asking for donations for Lauren’s family. i’m sure in many cases these members had gone without things themselves so they could help Lauren and her family. The vast majority of Koptalk’s members are nice people, who are just unaware of what is being done to them. When they find out, or perhaps realise, that Dunk isn’t poor at all (so he claims) and could easily pay Lauren’s mortgage off they get angry – especially if they went without something just to help Lauren. That is what outrages people – that’s not jealousy, it’s anger from people ripped off. We are merely reporting what Duncan says on his web-sites, nothing more than that.
“It is a sad state of affairs when KopTalk can promote other good causes but not that of a Liverpool fan directly related to those behind the site, who’s own sister used to write a column for us (Red Alert).” We remember Lauren’s sister on “Red Alert”. She was on the site at various times as a columnist along with Dunk’s step-brother Steve (“Kop Kids”) and we think also Charlotte, Dunk’s daughter. Certainly Dunk used Charlotte’s face a lot for the promotion of his site, and still has her promoting his infamous yet-to-be-seen book. Nobody would find a problem with Duncan promoting a good cause for a relative – but not if the good cause doesn’t receive the money. Is it just a coincidence that Koptalk HQ was upgraded at the same time as Duncan was asking for donations to help Lauren’s family get their own house converted? We’ll be making enquiries soon with our own local authority to see exactly what kind of funding would be available to convert a home to something more suitable for someone with a disability.
Another clear lie – “Lauren’s life and happiness is far more important than the scum who have opted to include her in their agendas to simply try and rival us.” If that really were the case you’d have taken her site down a long time ago (as opposed to merely ignoring it and rarely updating it). And this “rival” stuff is getting tedious now. How can a blog which merely exists to warn Liverpool supporters of your scams so that they can make a choice as to whether they stay with you or go elsewhere be a rival? Have you got your own blog exposing yourself? If not then I suggest you stop using the word “rival” when referring to us because it makes you look all the more foolish.
Finally, Oldham says, “We hope they’re very proud of themselves.” Would you be proud of this blog if you were behind it? One the one hand yes, I am proud of this blog in that it is slowly but surely (well, quickly actually) proving to anyone with an open mind just how Duncan Oldham really works. On the other hand it’s almost something to be ashamed of. I’m a Liverpool supporter and so many fans of other teams see Koptalk and think it represents us. I’m not ashamed of the blog, I’m ashamed that there’s a need for this blog.
If Lauren or any of her close family are reading this, we hope Lauren is feeling better soon, and we’d be more than happy to help promote any fundraising activities you might be doing, as long as Mr Oldham and the MacNeishes aren’t involved. We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish you well, we know if you keep showing the fighting spirit you’ve shown so far you’ll succeed in everything you turn your hand to. Just try to keep cousin Duncan as far away from you as possible, even if it’s only short-term so that you’ve time to think about what he’s been doing.
