What the hell is this story doing as a main article on a Liverpool FC website?

Of course this is the Newcastle fan’s LFC site, so he’s as excited as a kid in a sweet shop. Or a glutton in a pie shop.

Newcastle chief in secret talks with Beckham
#1532463 – Fri Jul 07 2006 09:32 AM

The Daily Mail (British newspaper) today carries a full back page exclusive with the headline ‘NEWCASTLE GO FOR BECKHAM’.

Exclusive photographs of Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd leaving London Hotel Claridges followed by Victoria Beckham, are included with the report which says that Beckham was smuggled in and out through a different exit.

It is claimed that Newcastle are prepared to offer Beckham a deal worth £120,000-a-week to try and tempt him to Tyneside. They would also allow him to commute by helicopter each day from ‘Beckingham Palace’ in Hertfordshire.

We all know he’s a Newcastle season ticket holder, and we’re also 99.9% certain he’s no longer a Liverpool season ticket holder. He won’t rise to our challenge though and post us a photo or a scan of his season tickets to prove us wrong. He won’t even answer questions in case he drops himself in it –

I have just changed my season ticket from the Anfield Road end to the lower Centenary. How many rows are there in the lower cent? I am on row 30 and I think there are 31 or 34 but I am just guessing?

Gone fishing

Things used to be so different – look at him claiming to buy fanzines in days gone by. This is from around February 2000. Nowadays he hates fanzines with a vengeance, especially now that their websites take sane (and insane) posters away from him.

L.F.C. Fanzines

A fanzine today is as important as the match day programme. There are several available and while people will have their favourites, I always make sure I have a copy of each. Below you will find the links to Liverpool fanzines, have a look and remember that you don’t have to be in the U.K. to get hold of a copy or subscription. If you contact these guys after learning about them on Kop Talk, please tell them !!

fact of the matter is fatty isn’t a LFC season ticket holder…so fatty is lying AGAIN.

thinking about it, i wouldn’t want to be in fatty’s shoes (or anytime for that matter) when hes at anfield. just imagine the stare and glare in peoples faces as he walks down the steps to reach his seat. i know a lot of people living in the pool are aware of fatty and his scams. wouldn’t be surprised if some fans ganged up and beat the shit out of him. would be a great spectacle tho.

Just imagine being in the seat next to him – how would you like his hot-dog smelling flesh crushing you, his foul-mouthed Yorkie accent singing “Rule Britannia” when the Kop was doing YNWA and his elbows in your ear as he worked his camcorder to get something for his Gold Club.
