If you’ve ever subscribed to Koptalk in the past and used Paypal to pay the subscription, watch out!
KOPTALK HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TAKE PAYMENT USING AN ANNUAL STANDING ORDER METHOD.
Even if you’ve cancelled, you may find the amount of your subscription is taken from you one year after you last paid.
Some people have been charged twice – once by the auto-renewal method, and once after they responded to an email from one of those wonderful Koptalk members of staff, like Gianna for example.
So now, if you’ve ever spent even one penny on Koptalk using Paypal, check you’ve not been charged twice, check you’ve not been charged for something you never had, check you’re not set to be charged again soon.
This is taken from the help center on the paypal site:
How do I cancel a subscription?
Canceling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be canceled up to the day of the next scheduled payment.
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Click the My Account tab.
3.Click the History subtab.
4.Click More filters, select Subscriptions and agreements, and then click Subscriptions.
5.Change the date back to the year the subscription was created, and then click Show.
6.Click Details next to the subscription.
7.Click Cancel Subscription.

I happened to find out about this charge today, when seeing an annual payment subscribed to ‘Caboodle Network’.
I was screwed by ‘Steve’ when signing up for Footy4Free a few months ago. Now no service, and aggro from Steve/Dunc when signing up. What a twonk.
After everything I’ve read about this twat, all I can say is that he’s evil.
Thanks for the good work you do in exposing the dark one for who he is. ;o)

Oldham recently tried to scam me with this trick. A paypal subsciption had been created which he took payment from, I was then invoiced for another £30, I clocked it thanks to this site and didn’t pay.
