Oldham the Conman

Dunk claims he’s not bothered with this blog or the “haterz” as he calls us. Despite this, every other video on his moanvideo site, and most of his tweets are about us. In fact he talking, tweeting and thinking about us all the time. I can understand why though, as we’ve managed to reduce the number of people he is ripping off by several thousands in the three and a half years the blog has been running. Today he made a tweet with links to three different websites where he’s addressing us. On one of them there is a long speech where he tries to defend himself from some of the issues we’ve brought up on this blog. How does he even know what we say when he claims that de doesn’t read this blog? The truth is, he’s one of our most avid readers. Here’s what he says:

Dunk must be missing the free advertisement he claims he gets from this blog. Or at least his latest stunt looks like it’s aimed at us. Of course, we’ll obey his command and make a new blog post about it. After all, we don’t want to disappoint our favourite website editor, do we?

Koptalk owner: Fans views not as important as mine

I’ve posted the original post from the KT member in comments under an earlier article, but now Duncan Oldham has spluttered a response of sorts so I suppose I should comment in more detail. (And just as I go to post this I notice “Chapeau de Soleil” has made an eerily accurate prediction about Dunk’s response too.)

I’m talking about the Independent LFC Fans’ Survey that appeared on fifteen Liverpool FC fan sites on Friday. See here: “Independent LFC Fans’ Survey (This is Anfield)” for one of the original announcements. All the sites involved posted the release at approximately the same time. It’s not designed to represent just one site or just one view. It’s designed to represent many views. Whichever extreme you come from, you’ll have a voice if you want it. The fifteen listed sites represent quite a broad spectrum of Liverpool fans – I suppose the only fans not represented are those who don’t buy fanzines or use the net.

Dunk clearly wasn’t asked, for obvious reasons. To those new to this blog, the obvious reasons are that every other Liverpool FC website is happy to co-exist with other LFC fansites. A person who’ll feel right at home on one site might feel out of place on another. But they are all LFC fan sites. They all cater to their own audiences. They all acknowledge each other. Those of us who visit more than one forum will be familiar with a post on “Forum A” talking about a post on “Forum B”. I’ve seen inter-forum rows, but usually it’s a couple of wind-up merchants having fun with the easily wound-up.

But every one of those sites has, I am sure, spoken of the cons carried out by Duncan Oldham and his family using the “Koptalk” name. Stealing from LFC fans, running hate campaigns against LFC players, lie after lie about their contacts at the club.

Ticket tout claims to be LFC owners’ confidante

Where did Koptalk’s ticket go?

Duncan Oldham recently showed a scan of a share certificate in his name. He claimed to have “shares”, but didn’t say how many.

The recent takeover of Liverpool Football Club included a guarantee of match tickets for every bought-out shareholder. I’ve not checked the details, but Duncan Oldham was clearly entitled to at least one ticket as a former shareholder, maybe more if he had more than one share.

That is without including any entitlement earned by the season tickets in his name, that he sells on at a profit each season. He was (illegally) raffling tickets to various European fixtures this season too, so that is another way he may have qualified for a ticket. In other words, he was possibly in a position to buy numerous tickets, but let’s say he bought just one.

Dunk did not go to Athens. He’s still pretending to be there now, but there is far too much circumstantial evidence to say he isn’t there.

He spent last week in La Manga with Steve, taking videos from a major distance of the players training. It was impossible to make any of the players out. He had to pad this tiny amount of footage out by adding videos of him and Steve looking at the scenery in the Spanish resort, and making poor jokes about signs they passed.

He said he was then travelling to Athens directly from Spain. Yet not one piece of video from that camera has been seen. We got to see a 10-second mobile-phone camera clip of some Liverpool fans. But after forcing his flabby features on us for weeks on end on film all of a sudden he was nowhere to be seen. Have they lost their camera? They claimed they had two (one of Dunk’s recent videos was of him filming Steve coming home from shopping with members’ money and a second video camera.) They used members’ money to buy these cameras. To buy the flights. To pay for hotels. So why no video of the biggest event of the season, which they claimed to be at?

Because Oldham was at home in Wallsend, with the video cameras and the laptop, logging in as himself pretending to be in Athens, Katie in Athens or Steve in Athens.

I’m fairly convinced that Katie was in Athens, and we know that Steve was in Athens because he helped ITN to produce a report they knew was false.

But Dunk was back home, with the laptop. Either that or Steve has the laptop but doesn’t know how to work it.

Did Steve take any video footage? Well we’ll find out in the coming days – now that Steve’s home. Will it feature Dunk’s wonderful wit? No. Because Dunk didn’t go to Athens.

Why lie? Why not tell the truth? Chances are he was too frightened to go to Athens, given his notoriety on the net for ripping off Liverpool supporters and all the other anti-LFC stuff he does. He was happy to send Steve – Steve’s not quite so infamous, yet, plus cowardly Dunk isn’t exactly bothered about his little brother’s well-being. After all, he’s bullied him into staying in day and night for the past couple of years, keeping an eye on the site, unwaged, for 19 hours a day (Dunk’s claims). So Steve has no friends, no girlfriend, no contact at all with anyone of his own age, save Katrina, the 17-year-old forum chatline assistant. (The middle-aged conned-man Rich T still thinks he’s “in” with the teenager.) Dunk used to have an email address of “TheOrganGrinder”, clearly seeing Steve as his jug-eared peforming monkey. Steve getting beaten up is something Dunk would have enjoyed – a chance to whine about victimisation. It’s not right to beat Steve up, but there was a risk of it happening, and big bruv wasn’t even slightly bothered.

On Monday Steve was pictured in Athens with a ticket. Dunk was asked on his forums why Steve, who’d lied to ITN about his age, was pretending to need a ticket (for which he’d pay £600) when he already had one. “That’s mine,” claimed Dunk, from his bolthole. Well if was his, how was Steve instructed to use it?

We’ve not seen one photo of any of the Koptalk “family” inside the stadium. They were outside in a square according to Kat(ie)rina.

That picture was at Zappeion square (sp?) where we watched the game! I told you it was bad there but that is terrible!!

So if Steve was outside, Kat-lel was outside, and Oldham was in Wallsend, who used Dunk’s ticket?

On Monday Steve had it in his hands. On Tuesday he had £600 cash in his hands, pretending to ITV he was a Liverpool supporter, looking for a ticket. On Wednesday he was in the square outside the ground not watching the game.

That post above is actually from Thursday, and almost certainly posted by Katrina herself. She didn’t check with Dunk first to get their stories straight. The next one was posted on Wednesday, a couple of hours before the game. Please don’t laugh.

The boys just had a phone call from mike jefferies who is having a meal in the champions league village with luis garcia and steve mcmanaman. We have all been invited down there to join them. This might be our last post now until after the game. Smoove is online keeping an eye on things.

I wonder if Katie’s ever heard the “I’ll get my coat” saying, from the Fast Show of probably ten years ago now. She’ll have been 7 ten years ago. She certainly didn’t write that little bit of nonsense.

Notice the “Smoove is online keeping an eye on things” statement? Dunk’s put that there in case any nasty blog supporters wanted to post hints to other members about the blog.

“The boys got a phone call” – it’s a minor slip-up but surely she either means “Dunk got a call” or “Steve got a call” – or do they share a phone? Of course Dunk wasn’t even there. And Mike Jefferies didn’t invite them for that meal of course. And hadn’t Dunk already made all of this up the night before?

Oh yes – on the 22nd, in reaction to us pointing out even then that he wasn’t in Athens…

Dunk’s too thick to remember the details of his lies and we’re still waiting for this video podcast. Or even a photo. The meeting was arranged on the 22nd, “tonight and tomorrow”, now there’s a phone call being made on the 23rd to invite them. Small details, but enough to show Dunk up as a liar.

On Thursday Katie was logged on as herself again. She said this, just 20 minutes before she let it slip they were watching the game from the square. WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT TICKET?

I’m sorry to say but no matter what score the game ended on there is a line that you cross when giving all to the AC Milan fans and some of those reds crossed it last night!

On both times AC Milan scored a good 100-200 reds started throwing stuff at the Milan fans. This included cans (empty and full), glass bottles, chairs, I even saw a pack of 24 cans fly over and the worst one was the red flares that they decided to set off and throw right into the middle of the fans! When Kuyt scored a few cans got thrown back at the reds and that was it!

Now one thing that those who were throwing stuff forgot was that there were some reds in the middle of the Milan fans! I saw 3 lasses run out in tears because they had been hit with something! I was ashamed to be in with them and I hope that when they wake up and remember what they did they feel just as ashamed, if not more.

No matter what the score was that should not have happened. End of story!

What was it like where you watched the game from?

Silly Dunk. You logged on as Katie at 9am and then didn’t brief her on what to say when she arrived home herself much later.

But where was Dunk Katie? Why were there no pictures of Dunk in Athens?

Because Duncan Oldham touted his ticket to the highest bidder. What is funny, really funny, is that he’s probably told Steve to get as much as he can for the ticket. And then he thinks that Steve told him the truth about how much he got! You see Dunk’s been teaching Steve how to lie (badly) for years. Dunk hasn’t a clue how much Steve got for the ticket. Steve says, “I got £750,” and Dunk doesn’t know if he really got a grand. He’s not got a clue.

Duncan Oldham is a ticket tout. His FA Cup final tickets last season at £1600, and other examples, including his season tickets. He’s not going to last much longer as one though. A lot of people who tout their tickets will be getting worried in the aftermath of what happened with tickets from start to finish. And Dunk will hopefully be the first one caught.

Are you angry? People who went to matches all season, not just glamour ties, missed out on tickets. Duncan Oldham flogs his season ticket each year but still got a ticket. Which he sold on at a profit if his track record is anything to go on.

To help you calm down, here’s a piece of fantasy from the idiot. He’s still pretending to have contacts at Anfield. We know he hasn’t. He’s not got any friends at the club at all. Here’s his damning verdict on what our new owners think of our chief executive. It may be true, it may not – but let’s hope Dunk’s got a good lawyer after making these claims…

The last four words of that little piece of bullshit say it all. He has no idea.

“He’ll be history” and “He could be retained” in consecutive sentences. That little load of nonsense made me laugh. Not sure how the two Americans will feel about the accusations they think Parry is a muppet.

And the extra laughter for me came from the image of George and Tom clamouring to tell Oldham the gossip, about how they’re not keen on Rick.

Oldham – you have no idea.

Tough luck boys

We aren’t an LFC fan site. But we are LFC fans.

I’m gutted, but at the same time I see it as a pivotal moment we’ll all look back on in years to come. The night Tom and George saw that they couldn’t dream of holding back on any of that funding. The night we said goodbye to the old regime and brought in the new.

Hopefully the changes will all be for the better.

And in Moscow in 2008 we’ll bring number six home, to sit alongside League title number 19.

Duncan Oldham, Koptalk, The Sun

Are you new to this blog? Or a fan of a team other than Liverpool FC?

If so you might not know about the Liverpool fans’ boycott of the S*n newspaper.

We don’t read it. We don’t buy it. We don’t visit its website. We don’t use it to hang from a nail on the back of the bog door. It’s boycotted.

The boycott is of The S*n, and it’s a boycott without any exceptions. Save one – the Liverpool press office will obviously take a copy as part of their monitoring of the national press.

Some fans like to extend it to anything belonging to Rupert Murdoch – so that would include its sister papers like The Times and the News of the World, and his Sky TV empire. Others extend it to anything belonging to or involving the 1989 editor Kelvin MacKenzie, which until recently included the Talk Sport radio channel. But that extension to the boycott is optional. Each to their own.

The boycott of the S*n isn’t optional. We boycott it, we do it for the sake of the families, the sake of the 96, the sake of the survivors. And until the families tell us otherwise, the boycott must go on.

Why do we boycott it? Well that newspaper claimed that our fans pick-pocketed from and pissed on their fellow fans during the events that day in 1989. It said it in big headlines. The then-editor knew it was all lies, and finally admitted as much recently. There’s never been a meaningful apology. There have never been any signs of remorse for what was said. So it’s boycotted, and will remain that way until those most hurt by it are able to forgive the paper. That day may never come.

I was prompted to bring this back up again because Oldham keeps claiming that we are “using the 96 to gain brownie points”. We’re not. My own personal feelings towards The S*n are strong. I spoke to a Manc a few months back and although he’s a fairly (fairly) intelligent guy he actually believed that what the S*n had written was true. He’d heard that story and perhaps wasn’t that interested in reading much more about it. So he believed what was said – and he’s quite a decent chap too, considering his footballing allegiances.

Oldham’s now pretending to care about the boycott, to want Justice for the 96, but it’s just a marketing ploy. His site is dying on its arse and he needs to use whatever angles he can to retain the last few stragglers and also to convince any fans new to the internet that Koptalk should be their home for LFC news.

Oldham tried to play they boycott down last summer, as he’d done for years. He was trying to make out the boycott was dying out and it was up to each fan to decide what to do about the rag. Of course it’s up to each fan what they do – you can turn up at Anfield in a Chelsea shirt and Man Utd hat with Everton underwear on if it suits you. But you wouldn’t. You just know you shouldn’t. Why would you want to? Why would you want to buy The S*n when you know how much it hurt our own?

Scouser Cook gives Sun red card as he plots Sligo revival

FOOTBALL managers seldom take long to fall out with journalists but few make a point of refusing to speak to a newspaper before they even take the job.

New Sligo Rovers boss Paul Cook must have set some sort of record when he refused to do any interviews with The Irish Sun before it had even written about him.

The 40-year-old Scouser insists it is nothing personal against the journalists in question, but a matter of principle. As a died-in-the-wool Liverpool supporter, Cook simply can’t contemplate co-operating with any arm of The Sun.

Most Liverpool fans would not even eat their chips from The Sun due to its coverage of the Hillsborough tragedy in 1989 and Cook will not be deviating from that principle.

“I’ve been a Liverpool fan all my life and have watched them play many times over the years,” he explained. “I knew people who died at Hillsborough and the comments that newspaper made at the time of the tragedy makes it impossible for me to have anything to do with it.

“I’m not trying to be a smart-arse and it is nothing personal with the people who write for the paper in Ireland now, but in my life I’ll always side with Liverpool fans.”

Good luck to Paul, and well done for taking a stand.

Look at what Duncan Oldham was saying last June, almost a year ago: Dunk’s lies and audiotape.

It was a story that Duncan Oldham was spinning about Peter Crouch. He claimed Crouch had spoken exclusively to The S*n. One of his posters (the infamous Brendan) suggested that perhaps Crouch had not spoken to the S*n, that he’d spoken to a press conference and that perhaps Dunk had seen it written somewhere as, “told the S*n”. Dunk wasn’t having that. He was already spending most of his time slagging Crouch off, calling him “Lurch”, enjoying a free ride on the national anti-Crouch bandwagon that was just about to see its wheels fall off: “No Brendan,” he responded. “I have the proof right here, I have the tapes. I’m going to lock them away until I decide it’s time for Crouch to be sold… probably next week then.“

If you are a Liverpool fan, and a member of Koptalk, and you still support Dunk despite everything I’ve just written, then you need to reconsider your support. Seriously. Shake off those doubts, and shake off any pre-conceived ideas you have about Oldham. Good or bad. Just read this post, and the one I linked to, with an open mind. I’ve not made it up. It’s all taken from Koptalk, from the free forums Dunk had until he decided to scrap them one afternoon in a frenzy of panic. He couldn’t keep on top of the posts that were being made by people wanting to spread the word. He probably also thought it would be easier to catch me if he didn’t have free forums.

The post above, the made-up story used to try and attack Peter Crouch, followed on from this – Dunk says The Sun is OK.

Someone wasn’t happy to see the S*n being used on a Liverpool site in this way. A moderator attacked the newcomer, probably still under Dunk’s spell and unable to make up his own mind about issues. Or perhaps he too thinks, like Dunk, that it’s worth snubbing the wishes of the families in return for being able to look at more attractive pairs of tits than Oldham and MacNeish. I’ll give the moderator the benefit of the doubt and assume he now sees why it was wrong to take the side of the person who’d quoted (indirectly) from The S*n.

It’s not just Liverpool fans who boycott the S*n, we’ve a lot of support from fans of other clubs too. But some people still think that the S*n’s lies were actually true. That’s why the boycott can’t stop. Unless the S*n is willing to make an unreserved apology and perhaps even name its sources from then, I really don’t see how the boycott would be stopped. But it’s not my decision.

One day we’ll stop Duncan Oldham fleecing Liverpool fans and treating us like nothing more than a meal ticket. We’ll stop him using footage of Hillsborough-related protests and sticking his site’s URL all over the top of the (stolen) footage. We’ll stop him exploiting his daughter on video and then using the slogan “Justice For the 96″ as a way of making himself sound like a Liverpool fan all of a sudden.

Keep the proof coming in. If you signed up for the pay-site because you thought you’d get insider information let us know. Don’t be embarrassed, you weren’t the only one. If you bought a ticket for a match off Dunk, let us know. It’s the same with any signed goods – tell us what you paid and when. Like many parasites, he’s proving hard to get rid of, but he’s going. He’s not able to spread any further or grow any bigger (literally as well as metaphorically!). But we need that last blast of proof of his lies and thefts before we can finally flush him away like the turd he’s been.

He’s in La Manga now, stalking the Liverpool players he hates so much. I wonder if Peter Crouch will spot him? I wonder if Robbie Fowler (a past victim) will spot him? Then again, I wonder if they’ve even heard of him?

And one more thing before I sign off. We occasionally get people asking if they can donate to the blog, or if they can buy us a pint, even offers of help getting tickets. It’s a blog rule that we turn all this down, we aren’t in this for ourselves. I was about to say…

I started writing this last night, added a bit more this morning, then got distracted before I could post it. And since then we’ve had Rupert’s excellent post where he talks about Oldham’s paranoia. He covers much of what this article has in it. I was going to bin it but thought, what the hell…

So read this as a post that’s a couple of posts out of date. It’s a response to two of Dunk’s many rants of late. He’s fighting like crazy (did I say “like” crazy?) to keep his site going, but it’s dropping like a turd does. Well that’s what it is. You can read on in more detail in a moment, but to summarise what I’ll be saying…

1) I am not a teenager. I haven’t been for the best part of two decades. Or the worst part, depending on how you look at it.
2) I’ve not attacked anybody’s family.
3) I’ve not got a BMX.
4) I’ve not asked for money for the writing of this blog.
5) I’ve not asked for money to stop writing this blog.
6) I’ve reported what Duncan Oldham has either written or said. Duncan Oldham contradicting himself on two different days, proving him to be a liar. It’s not difficult, he does most of the work for us (he’s not very bright). I don’t “allege” that he tells lies – I show the proof of it.
7) I ask questions. The Lauren situation has always been about asking questions. If Oldham answers them, we can stop asking them. If he paid her all the money he can prove it. If he didn’t, well he’s got plenty of assets he can sell to raise the funds. Such as the MERCEDES CLK 200K (03 ON) CAB AVANT AUTO 1796cc 2DR he upgraded to just after he’d been touting tickets “for Lauren”.
I was never banned from Koptalk.
9) I don’t “use the 96″ to score brownie points. The boycott of The S*n is an important issue and very simple to observe. Exploiting your child (despite threats of rape you claim were made against her) then sticking “Justice for the 96″ on the end of the video is what I would call using the 96. As was copying the BBC’s coverage of the Truth protest and sticking your site’s name all over it.
10) I’m not jealous, I’ve nothing to be jealous of. Spending my days with two 17 year olds isn’t my idea of fun, especially not the dopey pair in the Koptalk shed. Nor is chasing overweight executives of football clubs like Newcastle. Ten years of making “pie jokes” would be wearing a bit thin now, even if I wasn’t. I don’t like being the centre of attention either.
11) This blog isn’t just a couple of people. It’s possible becuase of the support we get from those who send us emails, or leave comments, or spread the word on other site.s The blog is big. Bigger than Oldham’s belly. And that’s big.

Anyway, what had I written? It’s long, as always, although most of it is Oldham’s rantings….
