Call for “proof” to all ripped-off by Koptalk

Duncan Oldham’s recent use of a video-cam to embarrass the owners of LFC and the owner of NUFC has attracted a lot of attention – which is what he wanted.

Yesterday hits on this blog surpassed our all-time record by at least 25% Our critical article on the Freddie Shepherd video was the top post out of more than 800,000 blogs on WordPress.

But some of those looking at Oldham’s history on this blog don’t like what they see. Some want to dig deeper – to warn others. And some want to stop Oldham exploiting the good name of LFC to rip-off its supporters.

They are interested in Koptalk’s whole sorry story. But those who have deadlines first want to concentrate on those matters which can be “proven”.

There are a lot of definitions of the word “proof”. In this case it means at least the direct personal testimony of anyone who has personally been ripped-off by Oldham.

The main interest is in the following:

1. Fake LFC memorabilia – signed shirts and balls – with or without fake certificates of authenticity from Duncan Oldham or Steve MacNeish or whoever.

2. The sale of tickets to Premiere League or Cup matches above their face value – for LFC or NewcastleUFC – including the sale of season tickets owned by Oldham or his wife or family: this will include any tickets “sold” in raffles or other competitions:

3. His claim to “inside” information, “official” status, “access” or other special relationship with LFC.

Please don’t assume that others will respond so you don’t need to. That’s been one of the difficulties of pinning Oldham down over the years. Even those with very serious grievances such as being landed with hundreds of pound of fake memorabilia are reluctant to let their name go forward. Everyone assumes someone else will do it. But that’s not the case. The essence of the Oldham con is he takes a little from everyone in the hope that nobody will think the amount worth pursuing, especially if they are overseas LFC fans.  Then he says the critics are only a couple of former banned members. You and we and those interested in pursuing him know that’s not true but they have to have testimonies to prove it.

Every testimony counts. So make YNWA mean something.It need take only a couple of minutes. Imagine you’re a lawyer making a summary of the main facts in your case. It can be as brief as a single line or as long as you like.

Please don’t send in suggestions or ask us to finish off the research for you or point to posts made by others.

We need your personal testimony.

If you are are in a position to place a link to this call for proof on another LFC site – in the UK or abroad – we would be grateful. You can introduce it anyway you like but even if you simply repeated the title and gave the url that would be good.

Most of those interested in ridding our club of Koptalk and the Oldham-MacNeish clan understand that Koptalk’s biggest scam and the root source of most of its other scams is the claim that Koptalk is somehow “official” and has “exclusive news information and whispers from inside Anfield, Melwood and the Academy”

Oldham has left a trail of evidence of tens of thousands of words on the net going back almost nine years. But if you have a cache of his editorials or emails or anything which would help us “prove” that he claimed to be an insider, please let us know.

If you have any documents about sale of shares in Koptalk or any other way he attempted to make money from his claims to insider status, that would be very useful.

We need witnesses willing to state that they paid Oldham money because of these claims. If the truth be known, everyone did – everyone who participated on Koptalk. But we need the actual testimony.

It would also be useful to hear from anyone who was punished by Oldham if they questioned the veracity of his claims – such as any who were hassled, insulted, intimidated, contacted at home or work, banned – temporarily or permanently – or who lost their membership fee, in whole or part, as a result of their asking questions about the validity of his claims that his site was “official” and he was an “insider” at LFC or his claims to have had meetings with investors, owners, directors, executives, management, players or anyone actively involved with the club at the time he made his claim. This covers also any claims he has made that the club granted him or his agents access to Press Conferences and training sessions or any other events at the club or with the squad.

If you have evidence or testimony about his deliberate manufacture of false information about any aspect of the club please write.

We would also be interested in any transaction involving fraud, theft, deception, false pretences and any failure to perform a contract. This would also include fake competitions. It would include any money you deposited with him as long as four years ago and every year since for his so-called book Anfield Exposed and his failure to produce it.

You can certainly add over-charging and double-charging by PayPal or other means in this category. Please be specific and try to support anything you report as best you possibly can with documents or links or screen shots. But if you can’t, the most important thing is your own honest, personal testimony.

For example, if you personally donated to charities run by Oldham for which you did not received receipts or acknowledgment or a proper accounting let us know. And you can list any replies you did receive that disturbed you. Try to be specific.

If Oldham squatted on your website domain, threatened you or your business or interfered with it – that would be noteworthy.

We need your help very quickly. So please send me an email today or tomorrow or as soon as you read this next week.

Now is the time to step forward with your personal testimony. Its very important. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity. Its not supporting the blog, so much as supporting the club.

Remember to give an email address where you can be reached safely.
