“Dave A” – you wanted to know more about this blog

Hello and welcome to the blog “Dave A”, or LPLFC1892 as you are known on KopTalk. It seems you only just found out about the blog today. That might explain why someone described by a good few people as a great Red still uses KopTalk. I know you’ll be back to read more, human nature is such that you’ll be curious to hear a response.

And welcome to any other Reds reading for the first time.

Most decent Reds long since learned that the Koptalk.coN site is best avoided, for numerous reasons.

The reason I keep being told “Dave A” is a decent Red is because of comments I made about him back in October on this blog, in this post. I called him gullible.

Dave A – what I was concerned about was that you were still falling for all of Dunk’s bullshit, all of his scams, all of his fake transfer rumours and false claims. More to the point, you were even giving Duncan Oldham free publicity on TV! If you are a good Red (as people claim), and you know about Oldham and his anti-LFC methods you’d not even visit his site any more, never mind give it free plugs.

I saw threads on KopTalk where you’d posted, and you gave the impression you knew about this blog and its claims about KopTalk. From what you’re now saying this wasn’t the case, but you did seem to comment on how nasty these awful bloggers were. Anyone who’s read this blog with an open mind usually works out that Dunk is in fact an anti-Red Konman, and soon give it a wide berth. Even if they’ve not got the guts to admit it, once the penny drops they disappear quietly from Koptalk.

Some stay, claiming it’s only for the sake of the other members. I doubt many of those will actually pay to stay on though once their subs have run out again.

Anyone who knows about the blog and still supports KopTalk is pretty gullible. Dunk’s a liar, as we’ve proven time and time again. For anyone to keep paying him to lie to them is quite sad really – and in my view a sign of gullibility. If you didn’t know about Dunk before, I suggest you read the blog now, search it at random, read the stuff at the top – read it with an open mind. If you’ve any questions come back to me with them and I’ll try to answer them. I’m not making any of this up!

I have just been made aware that an answer you made to me last night in the shout box has become part of the attack on you by some internet morons.

Its the first time I have seen the anti koptalk site, god these guys are idiots. I honestly don’t know what drives them, and I find it hard to believe that even my username is given so weird significance.

What I’m going to do now is answer your post. The “shout box” conversation you had was featured in a post on here by “Stannard” and “Rupert”. I know Stannard was a Koptalk Insider member, but Rupert wasn’t. Although I knew your username pre-dated the EST1892.co.uk website, perhaps “Rupert” didn’t. I’ve not spoken to him about the article. I personally wouldn’t have posted that link, but that’s because I remember the stick I got from people for calling you gullible. Your username has stuck in my mind for that reason. People have been taking the piss out of Oldham though by the way. Little bits and pieces dropped into posts to see if Oldham would bite – and I know because they’ve emailed me to tell me.

I’ll allow you to call us all idiots, you won’t be the first or last to do so. You might not be the first to take it back at a later date either – it depends on how open-minded you are. Can you face the truth?

I note you use the “jealousy” word too. This is one of Dunk’s favourite defences. You’ve been a member of KopTalk a long time – how often have you heard him hint at “jealous rivals” attacking him? He usually tries to make out it’s people with other websites who are attacking him, doing it to try to get their websites to replace his. This website, the one you’re reading now, is not a Liverpool FC website. It doesn’t have a forum. It doesn’t carry any ads or anything as a means for us to make any money. Everyone does what they do for free on this site. So please don’t be so small-minded as to use the “jealousy” word until you’ve worked out what I would be jealous of. Wake up! Dunk is shitting himself because for once he can’t sweep our accusations under the carpet. Have a look at the current list of people posting on KopTalk and ask yourself where all the names you knew from there a year ago have gone. Where are those names? Elsewhere – on one or more of the many Liverpool fansites listed in the links from this site.

You ask what drives us, well I can only really answer what drives me. I started this whole thing off as a piss-take of Dunk’s constant made-up transfer rumours. He’s quite skilled when it comes to making up transfer stories, but he’s not got any sources. Not one. When I started the blog off I thought there was an outside chance he’d have maybe one source, one who’d lost some of his own access to inside info since Rafa took over. But no, Dunk’s not got even one source. And any members he had who had contacts have long since left the site.

So to start with this was nothing more than a bit of a laugh, watching Dunk as he’d claim an exclusive story, 30 minutes after someone had posted it on YNWA or RAWK. He scoured the forums looking for snippets. What he couldn’t steal he’d make up – using aliases, like “Wallet” or “The Informer” or “Pat McCat” amongst many others. Remember how he claimed he had regular meetings with Rick Parry and others at the club? Rick Parry and Ian Cotton have told us that Dunk has no contact with them whatsoever. I know other things about Dunk and what the club think of him but I’ve agreed to keep this confidential. He’s not welcome at the club, let me assure you of that. And if you don’t believe me, please contact the club and ask them. Fill the form in on the official site, or email me and I’ll send you the email address you would need to contact them.

Dunk’s made-up stories are funny, unless you’ve paid £30 for it.

Apart from the transfer lies, the only other issue I wanted to address at the start was his apparent problem with the S*n boycott. To start with it just seemed that he needed to own up to an error of judgement he made in 1998. He wore a S*n hat at France ‘98. He had photos of himself taken wearing it. He used editing software to smudge their logo and used the photos on his website. This was spotted, and he was questioned about it. He claimed he hadn’t known about the boycott at the time, otherwise he’d never have worn the hat. He blamed it on him being from outside Liverpool. He blamed it on him being fairly young when Hillsborough happened. In my view they were weak excuses, but some people accepted them.

EXCEPT THAT WASN’T TRUE!

Dunk had been posting on UseNet about the boycott months before France ‘98. He knew full well about the boycott, but chose to wear the hat anyway.

When he was confronted with this fact on his own forums he ignored it. He diverted attention away from it. Instead of saying, “Sorry, I was a total arse, I shouldn’t have worn the hat and I knew that when I wore it”, he tried to divert people away from it. He owns a so-called LFC fan-site and he chooses to disregard the boycott!

I hoped that the blog would, if he saw it, persuade him to admit he lied about the S*n hat, admit he did wrong, and perhaps that would have been the end of it. But he couldn’t do that. Rather than tell the truth, he told more lies.

One day I saw Dunk had put some story on his site that I’d not seen anywhere else. I looked around the forums, no sign of it on any other forum, so where had it come from? Surely Dunk didn’t have a source. So I did a search on Google News and what did I find? It had appeared in only one other place so far. On the website of The S*n. No need for me to look at the S*n, I could see from the Google News search where Dunk had got his story.

That appalled me. Not only was he disregarding the boycott with his hat wearing in 1998, in 2006 he was actually using The S*n’s website as a basis for stories. No other Red would know about the stories the S*n was making up, because no true Red reads the S*n or its website. WE JUST DON’T DO IT!

So the blog reported this, and kept on and on reporting it whenever it happened.

Then Dunk admitted to buying the S*n. He owned up – he had it delivered every day. He tried to make out he didn’t pay for it, he claimed he bullied his paperboy into handing it over for an annual bribe. But he was bullshitting. You might remember the day, when he burned a copy of the paper and filmed it.

It’s all in this blog, have a search through. And while you’re there, look for the day that Oldham said he wanted to end the Liverpool career of Peter Crouch. Oldham was calling Crouch “Lurch” all last season, and when Crouch was on duty with England Oldham decided to make up a story about him. He said Crouch had given an exclusive story to The S*n. He claimed he had the tape of the conversation, as if he’d been in touch himself with the S*n journo! He said he would save it until he was ready to bring Crouch’s Liverpool career to an end. Bullshit, but nasty, self-centred anti-LFC bullshit. And you have been supporting him since, unknowingly (I hope).

Did you see the mosaic at Anfield before the Arsenal FA Cup game? Did you see the thousands of Kopites sending a message to the world that boycott wasn’t over, that the fight for justice hadn’t come to an end, that we wouldn’t allow Kelvin MacKenzie’s hate-filled lies to go unpunished? I hope you did. And to think, just months before Duncan Oldham was claiming that the boycott wasn’t important. Anyone who tried to correct anyone else would be attacked by him and some of his most toadying members (at the time) for daring to mention how bad the S*n was. Koptalk policy was the boycott should be forgotten.

And again, you’ll find all of that in Dunk’s own words in this blog.

So if you think all the other stuff he’s done doesn’t matter, do you still think his love of the S*n is OK? Is it alright for the owner of a so-called LFC fan-site to be so supportive of a rag that any decent Red wouldn’t even touch? I’d love to hear your answer to that. I’d love you to cut and paste all of Dunk’s comments and lies on the issue onto his site and ask him about it.

All the other stuff – does it matter?

His theft from Lauren is not something I’ve made up for fun. He sold FA Cup final tickets, tickets for other cup games, fake – YES FAKE – “signed” footballs and shirts, “for Lauren”. Have you seen the fake signed balls – look on the blog, they’re all here. Absolutely disgraceful forgeries, not even close to looking like the real thing. They were over £100 each, the shirts £250 each, the Cup Final tickets £1600 a pair. Not a penny went to Lauren. Nobody got a thank you. She didn’t get any money.

How would you feel if you’d spent £350 on a shirt and a ball only to find that they’d actually been signed by Dunk and Steve? And how would you feel if he made all kinds of excuses to avoid giving you a refund? Would you still support him?

He steals other people’s copyright. You might think it’s ok for him to make money out of recording football matches from Sky and putting them on his site. Liverpool FC aren’t even allowed to do this until so much time has passed. He breaks the law doing it. He’s not the only one, but no other site as far as I know actually charges people for it! And how about the time he stole a photo off a 15-year-old Scandinavian LFC fan? Then threatened to sue the teenager! It’s all in the blog, have a good search for it. We aren’t making it up.

How about his swings from being in the depths of poverty to being a super-rich property magnate? Does that bother you? Are you happy to give him that £30? He claims to be so skint he has to borrow money off his mum for his season ticket. Except he doesn’t actually have a season ticket! He pretends to have one, but hasn’t been to any home league games this year. He’s got a Newcastle season ticket though. He can’t afford to buy his own LFC season ticket one day, yet the next day has his NUFC one already bought. He can’t afford things one day, the next day he’s claiming to have signed up to a £1200 a month web-hosting package. Which later changes to a slightly lower price as he forgets the figure he’d made up a couple of months before.

I’ve gone on long enough now. There are a lot of accusations in this blog, but I think I’ve said enough in this one post for any “decent Red” to think that Koptalk has had the last of his money, the last of his support. Are you a decent Red? If so, boycott the S*n loving Koptalk.coN. TODAY!

I’d also like to give a special mention to the following Koptalk members who had a message for the blog via Koptalk.coN. None of them have the guts to post here. Don’t worry – I’ll not ban you from here, you can say what you like. I’m not frightened of hearing what you think of me!

But every single one of these people that follow – if you have read this blog, WITH AN OPEN MIND, and still want to support the S*n Loving Koptalk.coN, I suggest you give your LFC scarf and shirts to charity and find another club. Because you are not anything even approaching a true Red.

Grant Dunk his wish – report him

Dunk left all the readers of this blog a message today. He left it on his own website of course – he won’t actually correspond directly with us. He’s never had the courtesy to respond to any messages we’ve ever sent him. And although most of our messages may have been asking him difficult questions, none of them have ever been discourteous.

The message related to the infamous Lauren appeal. For the sake of new readers of the blog, Duncan Oldham had collected huge amounts of money “for Lauren” up until last summer, when he suddenly stopped. As well as getting people to set up standing orders to pay Lauren’s parents’ mortgage, he had people paying money straight into his PayPal account, “for Lauren”. He also sold tickets to Liverpool games, “For Lauren”, claiming she would get all the proceeds from the sales – which went up to £1600 for FA Cup final tickets last May. As well as his ticket touting, he sold fake “signed” footballs “for Lauren” and fake “signed” shirts “for Lauren”. Balls were £100, shirts £250.

There are various theories about why he suddenly stopped, including some he made up himself. What’s true is that he stopped after this website picked up on the irregularities in the collection.

I expect a lot of his existing remaining members were a little puzzled as to why the message appeared. A lot of Koptalk’s current members might not even remember Dunk’s long drawn out appeals “for Lauren”. Hopefully they did a search for “Lauren Forsyth” on Google – and found this blog second in the list of sites.

Here’s Dunk’s message, exactly as it appeared. It appeared in a locked thread, to discourage anyone from asking difficult questions about the holes in it…

I received an email today from someone who suggested that Lauren Forsyth, my disabled cousin, had been “ripped off” by KopTalk and that I had profited from fundraising on her behalf.

RedTed, a KopTalk member, organised off his own bat a collection for Lauren’s family when she was paralysed a couple of years ago. Other KopTalk members donated a few gifts including teddies, a laptop and even an LFC flag. As she’s a big Red she had a photo of this over her hospital bed if you recall.

Anyway, there were several small donations received by cheque which were paid direct to my mother, Lauren’s aunty. These along with anything else were handed to Lauren’s family. The reason the cheques were made payable to my mother was because she was organising and basically running their lives at the time because Lauren’s parents were destroyed.

Every single penny that came in to support Lauren helped Lauren. It has always been stated on this site by myself, that anyone from this site could visit her family or my own mother to discuss Lauren or any help they contributed.

Lauren had a mini-website on the internet which enabled us to inform those who had supported her to see how she was doing. This was taken down ONLY when a former (banned) member from this site started creeping around her and her family in an unhealthy manner. The same person and their associated friends also started pretending to be teenagers and tried to strike online relationships with various members of my own family, all of whom are or were under 18 at the time. Basically they used networking sites used by kids. This was purely to try and obtain information for their conspiracy theories.

Unlike these people that initially tried to hide and conceal their idenities online in their attempts to discredit myself with their various fantasies, for the simple reason that they have been rejected by the site for whatever reasons or because they are desperately trying to promote their own websites, I am fully accountable.

Instead of making various claims, please go to the police or other organisations because I find it tiresome having to justify myself. Normally I don’t bother but Lauren is very, very special to me.

In the reply to the email I received today I said the following:

All donations have been handed to Lauren (my own cousin) and her family and to suggest that they haven’t is very upsetting. Please do not be so naive to believe people who have a grudge against KOPTALK and especially myself because they have been kicked off the site or because they are associated to other LFC websites.

If you would like Lauren or her family to send you a letter confirming receipt of your donation, please reply with a postal address and I will get them to send this in writing via recorded delivery.

Failing that you may report this matter to anyone who you feel you need to. I would certainly welcome such action as it will kill such immature and petty conspiracies by people with nothing better to do with their own lives.

I have decided to publish this post on here so that it circulates the internet – because they just can’t help themselves. The above response applies to anyone. I don’t answer questions on here about Lauren any more or any of these stupid claims because I’m not going to justify myself to anyone other than, in the following order:

1) Me mam
2) Me Mrs
3) God (the real one)
4) The old bill and associated organisations

It is a waste of time coming to me/us saying “I’ve heard this” or “I’ve heard that”… because my answer will always be this “If you think anything untoward has happened, report it.”

Now I know that the majority of our members are pretty switched on mature people that can think for themselves. Of course KopTalk and myself especially has made mistakes over the years, I’m only human, but whenever I have let someone down, I always do my best to put whatever I did wrong, right.

This post should give the trolls something to discuss but don’t forget the reason for the post, Lauren. Target me, I don’t care, it makes me and the others here at HQ laugh but don’t make Lauren’s life any more miserable than it already is. She’s 18 for crying out loud and paralysed from the waist down. And if anyone thinks I would hurt my own family then they must be extremely dense.

Have these people upset me? No of course not but I felt the need to publish this one.

My attitude is that life is too short. I don’t hold grudges but I have no time for idiots. I just think those responsible must live very shallow lives because while they’re coming up with their latest conspiracy, I’m sat enjoying my life with my family and they’ll never take that away from me.

If they concentrated on their own lives and their own websites, maybe they could better themselves.

So there’s the message as it appeared, I left it intact for you to have a first read through. Now it’s time for one of my usual dissections of this latest rant. How much is true, how many holes are there in it?

With various pieces of information we’ve got from people who donated and from various statements left lying around the internet, we’ve a good idea of a minimum amount that was raised. We’ve a good idea of when these amounts were raised. It would not be difficult at all for Dunk to show those kind members of his site how much money was raised during the various phases of what I consider to be a scam.

Is he still a Kop Talk member? Where did the money he collected go? Was that into Koptalk’s pay pal account or was that collected in a different way? Gifts, other than that laptop, were pretty small fry in terms of what we are accusing Dunk of. In the early days of the collection Dunk was, it seems, handing everything over. We saw pictures of Lauren in hospital, we saw pictures of her with the laptop. But all that soon stopped.

Is your mother willing to speak to the authorities about the “several small donations”? The cheques were still being requested to be made payable to your mother long after Lauren first fell ill. We’re talking about when Lauren was back home and living a relatively normal life. For a long time the Pay Pal details that were given were the Koptalk Pay Pal details. Have you a list of all the payments that were “for Lauren”?

If Lauren is so ill that people need to give up their own money so she can have all kinds of luxuries, does she really want people to meet her to ask her questions about where the tens of thousands of pounds went? Would you like that to happen? I’ve got her home address – should I publish it on the blog? I’ve got the family’s phone number. Should I offer it to any interested readers so they can call her up?

You are saying that rather than you getting off your huge arse and listing all the donations received, by cash, cheque, Pay Pal or actually as a gift, you want busloads of strangers to knock on Lauren’s door! You want her family’s phone to be ringing day and night as the many, many kind people who donated try to find out if she got the money she was supposed to get. They cared about her – she was so, so unlucky to be struck down like this. But you seem to have pocketed most of the money.

First of all, this “mini-website” was little more than an extra way of promoting KopTalk. There were very few updates on the site, and most of them were directly or indirectly promoting Koptalk! Nobody reading that site had a clue how Lauren was doing. In essence it was a great idea. If it had been an honest collection it would have been ideal. Messages I’d expect to see on there would be weekly, or at least monthly, totals of what had been collected for Lauren. Messages saying how the money had been spent. Messages saying how the money had been raised, be it from donations or from the merchandise or ticket sales. There was none of this though. Why? Well from what we can gather, it was because Lauren was not getting any of the money by that stage.

And what’s this about someone, a “former (banned) member”? Who is that member then Dunk? I’m not banned. You don’t even know who I am! So who is this member? Name them, and tell us what they did. If they have been “creeping around her and her family in an unhealthy manner” well why not let us name and shame them? We’ve got a much bigger audience on this blog than Koptalk has, so we can make them suffer a bit. Except it’s not actually true is it? There isn’t anyone who crept in the way you said! I took minutes to find out where Lauren lives, what her phone number was, and it was all available to the general public. And I found it all whilst sat on my arse. No need to creep around for that particular piece of information.

This bit is funny too, carefully worded bullshit unless someone can tell me otherwise: “The same person and their associated friends also started pretending to be teenagers and tried to strike online relationships with various members of my own family, all of whom are or were under 18 at the time.” If anyone did that, they weren’t connected to this blog. I know I certainly didn’t. Why pretend to be a teenager? And who were the members of your family? Would it be the member who goes by the name of “Katie” on Koptalk, Katrina Cushnahan? She’s 17, but nobody knew this until this blog pointed it out. Koptalk decided it would be better if she lied about her age and so all Koptalk’s readers were told she was 18. Again, nobody from this blog tried to set up an “online relationship” with her or anyone else (who else do you mean by the way? Steve?) And her flirting in the “shout box” with the sad, lonely, middle-aged Rich Tea and DMH Pioneer is something you encourage to help the hits, to keep up a bit of interest in the almost-dead site.

“Basically they used networking sites used by kids. This was purely to try and obtain information for their conspiracy theories.” Dunk – these “kids” are your employees. Your site is “moderated” by you, by 17-year-old Steve, 17-year-old Katrina and some nobody from New York who doesn’t actually even understand soccer, as he’d call it. But “kids” rule the roost on your poor site. And you call it “mature”!

Unlike these people that initially tried to hide and conceal their idenities online in their attempts to discredit myself with their various fantasies, for the simple reason that they have been rejected by the site for whatever reasons or because they are desperately trying to promote their own websites, I am fully accountable. Fully accountable! When? When have you ever issued any accounts? You should have done, but you never have. You claim to have thousands of members paying £30 each yet you don’t even charge VAT. If you’ve got thousands of members paying £30 each then you HAVE to charge VAT. I’ve never revealed my identity to anyone – and that’s really, really pissed you off. You’d love to know who I am – but you never managed it. You’d have loved to have had the satisfaction one day of telling Steve you’d banned me (or that I’d banned myself) – but you never did. I’ve not got “various fantasies” about Koptalk and its fat-fingered owner, but I have told anyone who’d listen what the truth was. And “desperately trying to promote their own websites” – well look at the list of sites on here and you’ll see a long list of Liverpool FC websites. Yours isn’t there, but it’s not really a Liverpool FC website. It’s an argument you used years ago, when people left your site disillusioned by the lies and scams to set up their own LFC websites. People believed you, that these people were criticising you from “jealousy” and because they wanted their own websites to get your visitors! Well this website has one subject – Koptalk.coN and its fat owner. We aren’t a Liverpool FC website, we don’t make any money from this, we exist purely to warn people about Koptalk.

“Instead of making various claims, please go to the police or other organisations because I find it tiresome having to justify myself.” OK then. Everybody reading this – phone the police, write to the police, call the tax office, speak to Trading Standards. He thinks he can hide from them – will he be so confident when they look at the money he’s taken in, for Lauren or not, and the lack of tax he’s paid on it? Because they can look at his various accounts in great detail. You see the fact he’s taken money “for Lauren” when it was for himself was fraud, but not the only fraud he’s carried out. The more people that get in touch with the authorities the sooner they’ll look into him. “Normally I don’t bother but Lauren is very, very special to me.” No she’s not special to you Dunk. She’s just a means to an end for you, and until we got in your way she was a very lucrative means to an end for you. When she was in hospital recently (if she was in hospital at all) she was the last person you were thinking of. Your posts were full of self-pity, and very little concern for Lauren.

“All donations have been handed to Lauren (my own cousin) and her family and to suggest that they haven’t is very upsetting. Please do not be so naive to believe people who have a grudge against KOPTALK and especially myself because they have been kicked off the site or because they are associated to other LFC websites.” It doesn’t wash any more though Dunk. People know that this website is not here for the sake of helping another LFC website. We just want your website off the LFC radar, because it’s shite and full of lies, it reflects badly on our club. I’ve no “grudge” against KopTalk, I just don’t want fellow Reds to continue being ripped off by a S*n-loving thief who puts pretend tattoos on his arm and goes to more Newcastle games (with his season ticket) than Liverpool games. I’ve never been kicked off your site, and again, people know this. You’ll have to think of new ways to try and discredit me.

“If you would like Lauren or her family to send you a letter confirming receipt of your donation, please reply with a postal address and I will get them to send this in writing via recorded delivery.” Duncan – you are a liar. Do you honestly think that anyone would fall for that? They send you their postal address, and all of a sudden a few days later a letter arrives “from Lauren” saying “thanks” for the donation? Dunk – you would be the person sending the “receipt”! We aren’t as thick as you are. I’ve got a better idea. How about anyone who wants a receipt writes to me and I send them Lauren’s postal address? Would you prefer that?

“Failing that you may report this matter to anyone who you feel you need to. I would certainly welcome such action as it will kill such immature and petty conspiracies by people with nothing better to do with their own lives.” Duncan, thick person that you are, if you had nothing to hide you wouldn’t need to make such bold statements. Hopefully the thousands of people who read this blog will actually report these matters, and soon, but there would be a quicker way if you were being honest. For example, last summer, you sold FA Cup final tickets for £1600. You told the people who made a bid for them that the money was going to be spent on Lauren so that she could buy a special bike. How about a picture of Lauren with the bike? Simple, straightforward, easy. Is it because the bike was never bought? Is it because Lauren never got that money?

“I have decided to publish this post on here so that it circulates the internet – because they just can’t help themselves. Not that Dunk reads this blog of course…

Does telling them they have to ring Steve to get money back count as you doing your best? Stop being so bloody lazy, open a new tab in Firefox or IE and get into PayPal and pay them back. It’s not going to take you more than five minutes. Why should they have to arse about on your behalf? Did you pay everyone back who bought “shares” in Koptalk? You raised thousands for that (or millions if I remember your claims from the time correctly).

Make your mind up thicko. Tell us how much you collected, tell us what it was spent on, and the matter will soon be closed – unless there’s something that doesn’t add up. We aren’t dense Dunk. We know that you would hurt your own family if it suited you. Your false claims about your daughter (then 8?) being threatened with rape was one of the lowest points in your lowlife internet career. It suited you at the time though; you wanted some sympathy to divert people away from what you were doing. Yes – Lauren is 18 “for crying out loud” – and she deserves the tens of thousands of pounds you collected “for her”. The fact you used it to buy yourself some new tellies and a better car is why we are so annoyed with you on this issue.

“Have these people upset me? No of course not but I felt the need to publish this one.” We have upset you. I know we have. Lots of people have told me we have. People you trust. And not just Koptalk members either. People who know you for non-Koptalk reasons. You see people know you are scum and are waiting to see you fall, finally, for what you’ve done.

“My attitude is that life is too short. I don’t hold grudges but I have no time for idiots. I just think those responsible must live very shallow lives because while they’re coming up with their latest conspiracy, I’m sat enjoying my life with my family and they’ll never take that away from me.” There’s no conspiracy Dunk. Just the truth. You stole from Lauren. You claimed to be mates with Rick Parry even though he’d never even spoken to you. You claimed to be buying Chris Waddle’s house in West Derby, “for crying out loud”! You threatened to end Peter Crouch’s Liverpool career. You buy the S*n. All of these things really did happen. It’s not a conspiracy – it’s the truth. You are scum. Your mam maybe feels proud that her son has all kinds of material gains he’s made by lying through his teeth and stealing from strangers – but is she as proud about the way you’ve stolen from Lauren? Your own cousin? And your wife has long since left you, getting custody of the kids during the week – is she proud of you?

“If they concentrated on their own lives and their own websites, maybe they could better themselves.” This website takes up a small amount of my spare time, and I think that I’ve done a lot of good in setting it up. I’ve saved a lot of people from being scammed by you, and I’ll carry on until you stop scamming Liverpool fans.

Just to explain how much Duncan Oldham collected “for Lauren”, here’s an idea.

Fake “signed” footballs. £100 each – numerous.
Fake “signed and unique” shirts. £250 each – numerous.
Other merchandise, auctioned “for Lauren”.
FA Cup final tickets. £1600 for the pair.
Other FA Cup tickets – equally inflated prices.
Paddy Power donation – £500 (plus a donation promised by Dunk from the £1300 he received from Paddy Power at the same time).
Mortgage payments for quite some time.
General donations via the sticky thread on the site.

They are the ones off the top of my head, but I’ve seen no evidence whatsoever that Lauren got any of that money. Not a shred. Dunk feels we’ve got to always prove he’s guilty, but that’s not our job. We’ve got to present the evidence and let the readers decide. The police will decide if they think he’s guilty, and if so they’ll see to it that a jury gets to decide if he’s guilty. Just make sure you report him for all the frauds if you are concerned.

The lies are getting bigger, the trouble is getting deeper. If only Dunk would do what we’ve asked him to do for so long. Leave our club alone.

If Dunk closed Koptalk down tomorrow this blog would soon close too as far as I’m concerned and he could carry on whatever his other scams are. But I can’t speak for everyone else who wants to see him finally nailed for his years of ripping off Liverpool supporters.

Koptalk refunds – like getting blood out of a stone.

 This is a follow-up to my earlier piece on the same subject which you can see HERE.

After submitting numerous support tickets that were ignored Dunk finally got around to answering one of them (using the alias KOPTALK.COM).

I had opened this particular ticket on 5^th Jan 2007 asking for a refund of the £14 that I had sent to Dunk for Koptalk membership.

We exchanged a couple of messages, basically I was asking for a refund, and Dunk gave me the “contact our legal team” bullshit.

Then the support ticket went dead. I resurrected it 5 days later on the 10^th Jan, asking if Dunk had decided to refund me or not.

He responded saying I “was a good kid. What happened”.

The ticket again went dead. 15 days later, it was resurrected by the Konman himself who asked me for my Paypal email address so I could be refunded and then ranted on about how I had upset his family.

Initially I must admit I was please Dunk was going to refund me the money I had paid to him over the last couple of years, but then I started to wonder, was this just a ploy to get my Paypal email address so he could hack into my account?

 Lets not forget some question marks still remain over how Dunk managed to double dip in people’s PayPal accounts.

Or maybe he was honestly going to refund me, keen to right previous wrongs, and make himself look a reformed man when the Taxman and Trading Standards knock on his door.

 Or maybe I was naïve to get my hopes up about a refund.

5 days since the promised refund it has yet to materialize and like everything about Dunk and Koptalk, so much is promised yet nothing is delivered.

Dunk when you read this make sure you send me that refund right away, its not like you have anything else to do.Here is the support ticket so far so your enjoyment.

If they haven’t then they should personally address any contact to me via way of a support ticket and I can enquire as to why. But look carefully! Oldham may be too thick to know that many of his “members” are now taking the piss. But I’m sure even he noticed that the person who asked the question had “1892″ in his user-name.

Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt – and assume his reply is intended as wind-up for us so that we will give his dying site some more much-needed publicity.

In any case, its laughable.

The entire point of the Melwood house project – when originally announced – was that it would overlook Melwood training ground, and be equipped with video cameras to capture training sessions and all the goings and comings, and that it would be available as a kind of free bed-and-breakfast to Koptalk Gold Members, especially those from overseas.

In his fevered imagination the original concept escalated into an interest in Chris Waddell’s £300,000 property.

The idea that this unwaged, uninsured, social benefits-cheat who doesn’t pay taxes, and daren’t be seen in Liverpool – he even needs a burkha to go around Newcastle - bought a Liverpool house while continuing to live next to his Ma in a semi-detached in a low-income, low-employment area of Wallsend, and then kept the Liverpool house a secret, is a measure of the absurdity that is Koptalk.

The Melwood house was supposed to be an annex to the Koptalk downtown hotel with a themed Kop bar, also available for free to Gold Club Members. I guess he bought that too, but is keeping it under wraps.   

All these grandiose schemes, including his interest in buying a getaway home and other real estate investments in New York and a house in Malta for his Ma and cars and vans and high tech gadgets – all of this came after he received a generous infusion of cash for the Lauren charity appeal. The cash-flow seems to have gone to his head!

However, a few weeks ago, Oldham did claim that Koptalk has moved its HQ. So here’s a challenge for our sleuths out there, especially any who can get to Wallsend.

Is it true? Is KT still run from the garden shed or, for example, from his bedroom.  Is it in Wallsend or Scarborough.  (Scarborough would explain the goings-on with Katrina and her crowd).

I know that complaints were made to Tyne-and-Wear environmental department that the Koptalk shed was an eyesore, and in breach of planning regulations in a residential neighbourhood and rather than being a shed for residents to potter about in, it was used as an office for several 24 hours businesses including porno.  

Fellow travellers on Koptalk, you know who you are, keep taking the piss out of him!

Your PayPal account and Koptalk – be warned!

Regular readers may be surprised at just how many users of Koptalk still don’t know about the blog. Its a compliment, I suppose, to Oldham’s censorship. He bans anyone who mentions it. He closed the Private Messages and Personal Profiles and Email functions on his site so that Koptalk members won’t inform each other about us.

Here’s a recent letter typical of others we have received, printed with the author’s permission:

“My God your site really opened my eyes. I’ve been a Koptalk member for years but I can’t remember the last time I got decent insider info (if indeed I ever got it). Thanks also for the information on cancelling the automatic Paypal subscription. I didn’t realise it was automatic so I probably paid twice for my subscription each time.

BTW, I just happened to come across your site by doing a Google search for Koptalk. I’d never heard of it but I’m glad I came across it. Very interesting theory on the various charity appeals Dunc does and it’s great that you list all the alternative free Liverpool sites out there. I’ll be using these rather than Koptalk from now on (aswell as keeping an eye on your site too ofcourse).

We’ve reported before about double-dipping. In some cases, it’s still a mystery how Koptalk was able to get PayPal to send two annual membership fees in a matter of weeks.

In other cases the trick is more obvious.

The way it works is that Oldham gets his tool, Steve, to send a letter reminding the member that their annual membership will be expiring soon. He offers them a discount if they renew immediately.

In some cases, they do renew, sending the money via PayPal. They don’t realise that when they paid their original membership Koptalk put an automatic renewal on their PayPal account. So a few weeks later, when the original renewal date arrives, PayPal pays out another’s year’s membership not aware that the account holder has renewed at a discounted rate with a separate payment .

Oldham relies on most people not noticing, or if they notice being too embarrassed to write letters asking for a refund or to busy to spend hours waiting for a reply-that-never-comes to a support ticket.

We’ve already reported how some who are especially determined catch Steve unwares by telephone (not a viable option for someone living overseas) and how – with the practised ease of the con-artist he already is – he agrees it is a mistake but suggests that they let it ride because its in their interest to pay two years membership in advance.

I don’t apologise for repeating the advice we’ve given before.

Cancel your PayPal automatic renewals, do not respond to offers of discounted offers.

Every time we publish this advice it saves at least half a dozen people £26-30 and costs Oldham that same amout of money.

If you have paid by PayPal you almost certainly have an automatic renewal – even if you don’t realise.

To cancel it, follow the instructions given below:

Go to your PayPal account and log in.

Go to My Account

Go to History

Go to Show Menu

Go to Subscriptions

Go to Transaction Details

Select Cancel

Following the cancellation you should receive a confirmation email from PayPal.

It will look something like this:

Dear *******

You have successfully cancelled your subscription to Gold Club Renewal – 1 year.

You will not be invoiced for this Subscription again.

Finally, thanks for supporting the 2006 Christmas Appeal for the Alder Hey kids. I have informed Irene that we will do another one this year but I have specifically asked if donators can make donations online directly to them providing we can track the amounts because it took up a lot of our time recording everything and we’d prefer not to handle the payments in view of the conspiracy theorists.

Well it’s not much to ask is it? Get those Argos receipts, scan them in, don’t cut them up – just scan them in. If you had nothing to hide you wouldn’t have cut them up the way you did. You had something to hide, and you’ve still not corrected that. In some ways I should really get onto Irene at Alder Hey and ask her about those Argos receipts – but it’s not me who needs to clear my name. And the statement that “it took up a lot of our time recording everything” – well you didn’t. You “recorded” some of it, then hid it! You deleted it all, because you knew it didn’t add up. As Koptalk Dies, What’s next for Duncan Oldham?

Further to my last post in which I asked who he would blame for the disaster that has befallen Koptalk, I’d like to assess some of Oldham’s options for the future.

As Rupert pointed out recently, the traffic to Oldham’s one-man site, run from a shed in Wallsend Tyne-and-Wear, has diminished to such an extent, that it can no longer provide an income to pay its costs, let alone keep the “unwaged” Dunk and his entourage in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

So what are his realistic options?

1. Charity Scams:

He could set up another charity scam. In the past, these have proved to be very effective in generating cash for his pocket. But he has so few members now that another charity Kon would not bring in enough money to make a real difference to his dire financial plight. Not to mention the risks of running afoul of the Charity Commissioners and the police as they continue their investigations into his previous practice of mixing business, personal and charity income in a single PayPal account while failing to keep records or provide accounts to the donors.

So another charity scam is not a feasible long-term option

2. Fake Memorabilia:

In the past his sale of fake LFC memorabilia has been lucrative, especially because of the higher prices he was able to squeeze out of generous LFC fans by claiming the sale was for one of his bogus charities. But the North Tyneside Trading Standards office has his commercial activities under careful watch now.

So the sale of fake memorabilia can effectively be ruled out, too

3. Transferring the LFC Scam to Other Clubs:

He has already tried to set up websites for supporters of his beloved Newcastle, as well as Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest. But he brought those developments to a halt whenFusion BB, who supply him with the software for Koptalk, found out that he was developing those other sites with pirated copies of their software for which he had not paid a licence.

He could, of course, try to set up a site similar to Koptalk for any team in the country, by legal means (yeah Right!) but this would take a much money – money he no longer has.

So that possibility is more or less scuppered, as well.

4.Lets Pretend to write a book:

But £5 deposits don’t amount to a hill of beans. In fact they become a financial burden after three years of collecting them when you haven’t written a word of it and Trading Standards is watching and waiting. You just have to pay the money back. So forget the book.

 

These first four ways of making easy money are those which Oldham has relied on in the past. But even as I write he is trying to branch out.

 

5.Lets Do Porn:

As detailed in a previous article by Rupert, Duncan has for many years harboured the idea of linking football to porn.

Now he is trying it on his new tatty site which links “footie” and “birds”. Those who know Oldham’s techniques will not be surprised that all the content on the new site is stolen.

But let’s cut to the chase. Does porn still make money on the Internet? I think not. During my ( ahem!) extensive research into this subject I found that many so called pay-sites ( where one pays a fee to access pornographic photos and videos) are no longer economically viable. Even the large multinational companies operating in porn are turning their attentions to other ways of making money.

The market for paid porn is drying up because of the vast amount of free stuff available on the net.

Of course Oldham may not ask membership fees for his porn site. He may be relying on the traffic and the advertising revenues it generates. But advertisers have rules and standards and some do not like being associated with smutty sites. In any case, Oldham would need vast amounts of traffic to generate even a pittance from advertising.

So what’s left for him to do? Well he could get off his fat backside and get a proper job, like everbody else.

By a “proper job” I mean one where he cons nobody, tells no lies, earns a decent days pay for an honest days work, pays income tax , national insurance contributions and any other relevant taxes and dues, does not claim any state or invalidity benefits to which he is not entitled and returns home every day in the knowledge that ( for possibly the first time in his life) he is doing an honest days work for an honest days pay.

Does this option sound like it would suit the Oldham you know? Nah!

So a crisis is looming for Oldham.

But a career decison may be made for him.

If he doesn’t stop the exploitation of LFC and its supporters, he may find himself being forcibly taught sewing skills. My understanding is that some of Her Majesty’s residential institutions, do a very nice designer-line in mail bags. And I’m sure the other prisoners won’t mind if he wants to dress as a woman while he works.
