Steve Gerrard MBE (New Year’s Honours)

by Rupert Insider

Congratulations to Steve Gerrard. His MBE is an honour for the club and the city.

It looks like he might make it to a knighthood before Robbie Fowler does!  But by then Robbie will be a property Baron.

There will be some photos from Melwood in the local media after midnight.

Farts, Belches, Porn and “Transfer Frenzy at Anfield”

by Rupert Insider

Last week, the Koptalk Konman got thousands of money-generating hits from News Now readers for his EXCLUSIVE story that DIC had already made funds available for Rafa to go ahead with his interest in buying David Villa from Valencia. He would cost over £20 million, he told us sagely, because there was a £100 million buyout clause in his contract. He said he got the story from the “corridors of Anfield”.

A day later, Rick Parry nailed that one as “wildly speculative” saying that DIC had not done the takeover deal and LFC did not know if there would be any money for players in January.

Today Rafa buried it a bit deeper saying he had no interest in buying David Villa.

Undeterred, the Koptalk Konman wheeled out his Lucas Neil story. Koptalk was the last LFC site with that story in the summer, reporting it days after his “rivals”. But that did not stop him dusting it down and using it again – twice in the last few days. If you haven’t read his pearls of wisdom – he said that LFC may or may not be buying Lucas Neil – duh!

He also stole a few rumours from other sites and newspapers in the last few days without attributing his source. The Koptalk Konman’s January transfer bill is already about £145 million and January has not started yet.

Getting desperate he invented an unfunny headline about a “judge” returning to Anfield to introduce another manufactured piece about his pet-hate, Robbie Fowler.

His latest “exclusive” today is about Steve Gerrard’s MBE in the New Year’s Honours list.

He says he will have photos about it from Melwood later, but the press is embargoed from publishing anything until just after midnight.

In other words he has not found anywhere to nick the photos yet. If your interested, use the BBC or one of the online sites such as The Liverpool Daily Post and Echo. Why give Oldham clicks to look at his stolen goods?

Oldham couldn’t care less about you discovering that his stories are tricks and lies. All he wants is your clicks. He figures you’ll forget he fooled you last time when you see an enticing headline next time. You won’t be able to resist. And clicks are money in his pocket.

That’s how this anti-LFC, Newcastle season-ticket holder, exploits your interest in LFC.

The Oldham Robbie Fowler Hypocrisy

The Koptalk David Villa Lie

The Koptalk False Headline Technique

Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The transfer window is when he uses Koptalk Komic Kuts to earn enough money from News Now hits to keep him going until the summer transfer window and pay for his Mercedes upgrade.

You are his mark.

You can slow him down by refusing to click on any Kop Talk headline.

I say “slow him down” because we believe that he cheats News Now with a software fix that ensures he gets false clicks to push him into the Top Ten stories .

Whatever you decide to do about clicking, don’t send him any money. Don’t pay him £30 for more of the same bullshit, don’t buy fake LFC memorabilia from him or donate to his dodgy illegally unregistered charities and don’t give him your PayPal account number.

If you have ever listened to his Podcasts you will be accustomed to his burping, his fascination with the subject of child sex, and his toilet humour.

It gives something of the flavour of his site – Koptalk Komic Kuts. It has a tatty porno model whom he coyly presents on his MySpace profile as his “friend” – and an Adult Date Finder service, Betting Services, forums about race and religion, and gaudy, epilepsy-inducing ads announcing you are the lucky winner of this, that and the other.

Other than that the site is mainly about Oldham and his lugubriously dysfunctional family.

And in case you miss the point he has added a new feature today. But you get to use it only if you are one of his “mature” and “adult” members i.e. willing to pay him £30

More hypocrisy about Fowler

by Rupert Insider

fowlerwelcomeback1.jpgMost of us who genuinely appreciate Robbie Fowler know that his timing needs regular games. His physique needs constant, hard work-outs.

But its almost impossible for him to get this in Rafa’s LFC season 2006-2007.

Even when Robbie was in his glorious prime, Roy Evans used to drop him every now and then, to keep him focused and stoke his hunger for goals. But other than that he was a first-choice regular.

Then came the big injuries, followed by Houllier’s grinding down.

At both Leeds and Manchester City, Robbie was at his best only after a run of games.

On his return to LFC last season, when his goals-per-game and goals-per-minute were among the best in the PL, he played regularly for Rafa but only after an intensive training programme.

But there are two new forwards this seasons. And short of major injuries to Crouch, Bellamy or Kuyt (or one of them being sold without a replacement brought in), its difficult to see how Robbie is going to get the playing time he needs to perform at his best.

But the team does need what Rafa calls ” a very clever player” up front and some clinical finishing.

Houllier used to bring Robbie on as a substitute when the shape of the team was broken, the rhythm gone, legs tired and the team had gone into ten-behind-and-punt-the-ball defensive mode. It was hardly a scenario that could make the best of Fowler’s talents.

I’d like to see Rafa give him some starts. He is as likely as anyone – more likely – if the ball is played on the ground – to give a cutting edge to the attack. He doesn’t need speed if all around him are flowing.

Today, Duncan Oldham the Koptalk Konman has worked Robbie’s name into an empty paragraph for News Now. Fowler should be allowed some playing time before he becomes “history”. That’s all it says.

But if he told you in advance that he had no more to say than that, you wouldn’t click, and he wouldn’t make advertising money. So he lures you with an enticing title about it being time for the “judge” to return.

He explains his use of that word in the first line of his paragraph. “When Gerard Houllier started to snub Robbie Fowler, God started to be known as “The Judge” because of the amount of time he spent on the bench”.

Robbie was never known as “the judge” except by the sneering Oldham. It was an unfunny joke the Fowler-hating Yorkshiremen used once before.

He used it in an “editorial” he wrote in which he claimed Robbie Fowler telephoned him to tell him he was not in talks with Leeds United and would not be leaving Liverpool – less than two days before he actually transferred to Leeds!

Oldham and the paying “Insider” members at Koptalk were the last to know about that major LFC event, as they are last to know all the real news at LFC. All they get is made-up or stolen “transfer frenzy” from a garden shed in Wallsend.

Oldham’s expressed his true feelings about Fowler within a couple of hours of Robbie’s leaving. “Shut the door on your way out!”.

In the light of that history his paragraph on News Now today is hypocritical – just another cynical attempt to make money out of Robbie.

The blog has treated this before. If you want to see where Oldham used the “judge” word in his “editorial” about his phantom conversation with Robbie, Click Here and scroll down to the bottom.

If you want to see how Oldham tried to destroy Robbie’s Liverpool and England career with disgraceful lies, and muck-racing which he tried to sell to the S*n and other “nationals”, Click Here.
